We can't use NWC for most of our workflows due to the lack of this functionality. A state machine is virtually useless if each branch can't see and update the data entered in repeating sections by users in other branches.
I was shown how to grab the xml and put it in a label to display it as a table, but that isn't editable. I was subsequently shown how to use a component workflow back to O365 to populate a form there that is editable, but what's the point of that if I can just create it in O365 in the first place?
I really like NWC, it does have some really nice functionality and the speed compared to O365 is wonderful, but we won't be able to use it for anything but the simplest of workflows until this is implemented.

SUPER important to me. Our users paste in from Word and other document formats, and the docgen output at the end of the workflow is distributed out to the legislators to review before it comes to the floor. The legalese is hard enough to read already, dumping it out as plain text is awful.

Hi Sridhar,
The issue we currently have is the workflow engine does not send us any kind of event to indicate that the component workflow (or any workflow) has suspended meaning we can’t send any notification back to the parent workflow. We are currently talking with Microsoft to see if they can provide us the info we need, will update you once we know more..
Cheers, Rick

Thanks for your suggestion. I have updated the idea to be specific to ‘Choice – multiple’.
This has been added to the backlog. If this changes, I will update the status of this idea.
Cheers,

Please do this! It's such a pain creating short text boxes and hiding/unhiding them for a function that's already built into a choice field in the list. Also a REALLY big pain on a repeating section to have to use the workaround and then copy it to a variable and write rules.
It'd be so nice to have this for both Choice-Multiple and Choice-Single for the drop-down. It doesn't make sense to have it for radio button view but not dropdown, radio buttons get really cluttery when there's more than a couple of choices. (User voice item to allow columns might help that)Anne Collier supported this idea ·

This would be super helpful in a form I am building right now to replace an InfoPath form. Page one has a repeater for staff assigned, then there are approximately 20 other staff lookups in the form that all will only be the staff initially assigned. The InfoPath form allowed the dropdown list to be filtered by the staff selected in the first section, and I am sure it is going to be one of the first things the users complain about.

You can filter by tags, but you have to reset it every flipping time you leave then return to the list. So for example, if you have 20 workflows with a tag and don't remember which one you want, you have to filter by tag, open a workflow, close it, filter by tag, open the next one, close it, filter by tag.. until you find it. There is also no way to sort by tags, which probably doesn't matter if.you have to constantly reset it like you do with the filter.
Whether it's folders or the ability to save views or filters, it would be really helpful to have more ways to organize the list, and save that organization.

Thanks for the feedback and to let you know we are always evaluating and evolving the layouts and designs across the product.
Today you filtering is supporting and if you use them with tags this will assist with categorisation.

Setting a default filter and/or saving the current filter settings would be a huge help. Having to reset it every time I return to the list is almost the same as not having it at all.

Thank you very much for posting your feedback. The data source variables feature today, provides you the ability to create a condition to filter your data on both cases. If we did not understand the feedback correctly, please elaborate further.

Thank you for your suggestion. We are currently reviewing our style builder and looking at more granular control of fonts and colours.
I will update this feature when this moves to development.

Two years since the last update, I guess this is on a very back burner?

Thank you for your votes and feedback. We are now going to plan for supporting this capability.

If this does get done, it would be great if it included the ability to set page breaks like the old version did.

This would be really nice, as would using smaller or square boxes for each action, similar to the O365 version. Parallel paths, state machines, anything with branches, is hard to work with when you can only see two or three branches at a time. To make it worse, it sometimes loses the bottom scrollbar so you have to save, close, and open again to navigate. I haven't opened a ticket for that because I don't know how to recreate it.
