Reinstating this request as it is clear that delegation is required and not escalation.

    Thanks for your suggestion Dawn.

We definitely understand the value of ‘Set field value’ rules, but we do not have any plans to bring this functionality to Classic at this time.

Once we ship Universal Forms for SharePoint, we will revisit Classic forms in the future.

    Cheers,
    Euan

    Hi All,

We’ve just released the ability to capture comments from via LazyApproval, apart from that you can also easily store and retrieve those comments (including ones made via Nintex Forms or directly via the task) into a new task action variable (Task comments).

For those who are specifically interested in capturing from LazyApproval the way you do is by supplying the outcome separated by a comma and then the comments .e.g. ‘Rejected, Need more detail before can approve’.

Check it out and let me know what you think…

    Cheers, Rick

Unfortunateiy no. It does not satisfy.

The reason is, if a workflow needs to log comments, workflow has many duplicate queryTask-getComment-formatComment-logComment actions. These actions has to reoccur multiple times and overload the workflow.Very difficult to maintain.

The real difficulty is, getting comments "unformatted", and then apply a format (if html, it is a burden), and log the comment by appending. And do it multiple times (in different states).

A regular workflow becomes a complex one becausr of the number of "actions" involved. i.e. exceeding 1mb in size etc.

Please note User Defined Actions create similar size and complexity issue.

This is now in the backlog and something we would like to implement with Universal Forms for the List Lookup control.

I will update this feature when we begin development on the List Lookup control for Universal Forms for SharePoint.

    Cheers,
    Euan

Thanks for your suggestion Saurabh. We hear the request for tab ordering from time to time and will put this request in the backlog.

As we are focused on Universal Forms, I dont expect this to be delivered in the medium term but will consider this for Universal Forms.

    Thanks for your suggestion Victor.

As we are currently working on Universal Forms, we are revisiting our Print functionality and looking for user feedback to understanding your requirements.

If anyone would like to participate in a feedback session around printing Nintex Forms, please let me know in the comments below.

    Cheers,
    Euan

    Hi all,

With the development of Universal Forms, we are looking at how the current form modes are supported in the existing product.

At this time we are still planning to continue using functions to detect form modes. This is so we are able to support migrations but also give a lot of flexibility in the rules engine.

We do not plan to bring different layouts to Universal Forms at this time. As we are introducing multipage to Universal Forms, we do need to figure out how a multipage form will be printed and is under consideration.

I will update this feature when we release an Advance Preview of Universal Forms if our position changes based on feedback.

    Cheers,
    Euan
