Thanks for your suggestion. We certainly see value in this idea and have added it to the backlog, but it is not scheduled at this time.

    Cheers,
    Euan

Hey guys, would updating the email notification messaging to reflect that the workflow was intentionally cancelled meet your needs?

    Thanks for your suggestion Jason.

As we are currently working on Universal Forms and rebuilding all the functions in our new forms technology, I will add this to the backlog.

    Cheers,
    Euan

We are currently at the early stages of evaluating the whole topic of workflow documentation.

The task ID is populated once the task is completed. Before this the task list items can be locked by the task engine for processing and a workflow accessing this task may fail. There has been therefore a strong reservation form our Engineering group to implement this capability even if technically feasible.

If one wishes to delegate the task then the delegation should be used.

Should you have other use cases for accessing the task list before the task is completed then please let us know what they are. There may be an alternative way of meeting this need that will not introduce the possibility of workflow failure.

    Hi all,

We will soon begin the development of the List Lookup control for Universal Forms and take this feature request under consideration.

    Cheers,
    Euan

I would like to add a functionality : to be able to choose to apply the filter on the form read mode. Lots of time, I filter a list lookup with items that are opened to only be able to associate the current item with other active items. But once the association is done, the other active item lives by its side and can be completed but still associated with the current item. In this case, with the current behavior, the associated and completed item won't be visible in the form whereas it is in fact associated.

Thanks for the feedback Ben. I am interested to know what the driver of the request is? Is it simply best practice saving every now and again, or is it due to the browser potentially crashing and losing your work? If it’s the latter, would some form of AutoSave assist?
