Thanks for the feedback. We are currently reviewing this request.

I should point out as a stop gap, all workflow tasks created in NW365 should automatically be available via the My Tasks / Work Management features in your MySite.

You should be able to view tasks assigned to you "My Tasks Web Part" and the tasks should link to the related item for that task.

    Hi All,

This is currently a SharePoint limitation, however we have made sure that our lazy approval feature only allows people who are assigned a task to specify an outcome.

As a workaround a user is able to query the task list to see who was assigned the task and who modified the task. We are looking at how make the task querying process easier. Thanks.

Our users - both submitters and approvers in the workflow process - use this view to visually see where the workflow has progressed. Our designers use it to help figure out issues/errors with the workflows. The visual display is a user friendly way to understand and manage the workflow and is also helpful with user adoption.

SharePoint online is still not allowing Apps to integrate into this menu. Suggest you configure the start options to start on item creation and start on item update when developing and testing. Then creating or editing the item will kick the workflow off for you.

Agree - our organization is migrating from on-prem to online and we use this all the time. Now we have lost the functionality.

There needs to be some notifcation to the designer or somoene if the workflow errors. When you have multiple workflows across multiple sites a notifcation is helpful in managing your workflows and any issues. This was available in on-prem why has it gone away?

There needs to be a better way to be notified of workflow errors and view history and errors in order to research and diagnose issues.

    Hi All,

We’ve just released the ability to capture comments from via LazyApproval, apart from that you can also easily store and retrieve those comments (including ones made via Nintex Forms or directly via the task) into a new task action variable (Task comments).

For those who are specifically interested in capturing from LazyApproval the way you do is by supplying the outcome separated by a comma and then the comments .e.g. ‘Rejected, Need more detail before can approve’.

Check it out and let me know what you think…

    Cheers, Rick
