Thanks for your suggestion Ashlee.
I get this request quite a bit. At the moment we are focused on releasing Universal Forms which will replace the existing Responsive Designer. Once we have shipped Universal Forms, I hope to revisit this idea.

Thanks for your suggestion.
It is something we have considered in the past but is not an immediate priority.
If our priorities change on this feature, I will update this idea.

Hi Sridhar,
The issue we currently have is the workflow engine does not send us any kind of event to indicate that the component workflow (or any workflow) has suspended meaning we can’t send any notification back to the parent workflow. We are currently talking with Microsoft to see if they can provide us the info we need, will update you once we know more..
Cheers, Rick

Hi all,
Thank you for your interest in this idea. We have no plans to support the Event content type at this time. If our position changes, I will update this idea.
Cheers, Euan

Thanks for your suggestion. The Event content type is a bit more complex than a standard List content type due to the ‘All day event’, and the ‘Recurrence’ options.
Both of these features include specific logic to show more options within the control itself and would only be used within this content type. Therefore, is a reasonable amount of effort for this content type.
We may be able to include this feature into the product without ‘All day event’ and the ‘Recurrence’ options, but feel this would be an incomplete offering.
Cheers,

Without going into the technical detail; the previous value made available in conditional start is actually the current value just before any updates are made to the item. When the item is updated, we lose the ability to get the value prior to the update.
To restate the workaround as indicated in the idea; create an additional column in the list or library and update this with the current value of the column of interest. Then when the actual column is updated, the previous value is still available in the additional column. Of course one need not make this additional column visible in the view or Form so the users are not confused.

This is currently a SharePoint constraint. Please see the MS uservoice and vote for this capability here. Thank you.

This is now in the backlog and something we would like to implement with Universal Forms for the List Lookup control.
I will update this feature when we begin development on the List Lookup control for Universal Forms for SharePoint.

Hello, It is very hard to follow a workflow without the graphical view at action level. I had an issue recently with a new workflow and it took me several days to find the action where the error was. What do you mean by larger sections?

It seems that this has been fixed. can we have some hope that we will have the previous value ?
