This is still a problem for Document Generation in 365. Is there another way to accomplish this?

With the work on a “Connection manager” MFA will be supported for those live actions that support OAuth authentication. Unfortunately not all actions do, and so there are exceptions. When connection manager is released the help will detail which will.

For the balance, the comment by Mike Oryszak below is an option for these actions.

Live actions fail when a third-party MFA is in place on Office 365 (e.g. Duo). I worked with Nintex support and when I asked if Nintex supports any MFA with live actions was told specifically that currently you do not support multi-factor authorization when using live actions.

    Hi All,

We’ve just released the ability to capture comments from via LazyApproval, apart from that you can also easily store and retrieve those comments (including ones made via Nintex Forms or directly via the task) into a new task action variable (Task comments).

For those who are specifically interested in capturing from LazyApproval the way you do is by supplying the outcome separated by a comma and then the comments .e.g. ‘Rejected, Need more detail before can approve’.

Check it out and let me know what you think…

    Cheers, Rick
