  1. Add SmartObject REST Services BACK into K2 Five and K2 Cloud

    With K2 blackpearl, you had the ability to execute SmartObject via REST services. This is no longer available in K2 Five nor in K2 Cloud. It looks like OData is supposed to replace this, but you can only execute List methods using OData.

    Could this be brought back into the product?

  2. Increase character limit of Descriptions and Instructions

    We want to provide our users with a proper description of the process and clear instructions for their tasks, but sadly the Process Description is capped at 128 characters, event descriptions seem to be capped at 256 characters and the task instructions also appear to be capped at 256 (even though the Designer allows you to enter many many more).

    Would be nice if this could get an increase to at least 512 characters or possible even 1024 (just in case).

    The Instructions field on the Task Step can hold up to 4000 characters, to give better information to your users. The Step Description and Process Description are limited to 256 and 128 characters respectively, but with the larger instruction field you should be able to give clearer information to your users.

  3. Custom Themes in K2 Cloud

    Custom Theming is available in on-prem versions of K2 but this functionality isn't currently available in K2 Cloud. For those of us with heavily engaged marketing/branding departments, this is a particular pain point. We would like to have the ability to put together a custom theme and upload it to K2 for use in our K2 Cloud instance.

    New to K2, the Style Profile artifact type lets you configure how forms will look (similar to custom themes for on-prem). In the October release, you’ll be able to configure colors. In later releases, you’ll be able to add custom code and CSS to have more flexibility in how your forms look and feel. When your environment gets upgraded to this version, give it a whirl and let me know your thoughts!

  4. Configure email alerts for workflow errors

    When users receive errors in workflows, I tend to be last to know and have to navigate to the workflow section in K2 management. To be pro-active it would be useful to be able to setup email alerts on specific workflows should errors occur.

  5. View Designer: Table width configuration

    If I am configuring a table grid I don't have the ability to set things for a certain width. Allowing the user to be able to drag columns/rows to a certain width or more importantly to be able to type in the width. For example if I know I want all of my columns to be a certain percentage that I could just type that value in instead of trying to carefully drag it to that percentage (hard).

    We appreciate this feedback. We have shipped many enhancements to the table control in previous K2 Cloud updates including the ability to specify widths as requested here.

  6. add field "KUID" to environment templates on ticket system

    In each communication during a ticket the support wants to know the KUID of the affected environment. If I have no access to the ticket or email, we have a long delay in the ticket process, because the support engineer is waiting for the KUID.

    It would be very helpful if there is a new field in the environment template configuration section to store the KUID for each environment.
