  1. Create a GOV focused accessibility compliant theme

Essentially make a theme that looks and feel like GOV.UK, UK Gov Style. This would be a big tick if Nintex are looking at targeting other government departments within the UK. Other regions in EMEA and Worldwide I am sure would be interested.

    https://design-system.service.gov.uk/styles/

The feedback from Government customers on smartforms today is that they are still getting challenged on accessibility requirements.

Watch for the coming feature to add custom CSS into Style Profiles, releasing later this year for both K2 Five and K2 Cloud. You will be able to link external CSS files into your Style Profile to use in SmartForms, which should unlock this capability. Try it out when it releases and let us know your feedback. Thanks!

  2. Enable open source FontIcons in K2 Cloud

One of the key features we had with our custom themes on-prem is allowing users to use FontIcons.
Allowing FontIcons as a feature in K2 Cloud will be very useful in creating better looking forms.

  3. Custom WalkMe Snippet on K2 Cloud

It would be great to have the possibility to embed a custom WalkMe Snippets in K2 Cloud. This would allow us to provide our own inTool training content for people working with the K2 Cloud platform and provide them with help where they need it.

The WalkMe Snippet code needs to be added in the "head" tags of a page.

Detailed instructions for how to deploy the WalkMe Snippet can be found here:

Thank you very much for your feedback! We plan on allowing custom JavaScript and CSS in SmartForms via the Style Profile Designer in a future update. This should allow you to embed WalkMe snippets in your form. Stay tuned for more info as this feature gets closer to a release date.

  4. Full control of how K2 cloud sends e-mails

There are a few ideas on this forum already to modify the 'from' address of an e-mail. These requests vary in a few options:

Most ideas are slightly difficult to implement as the e-mail configuration is…

Thank you for posting your feedback. While we will not be changing the architecture of K2 Cloud to use customer's own SMTP options to ensure our SLAs for notifications, we do plan on allowing the "from" email address to be modified to a friendly account. Currently, the display name can be changed, and in the future, the vanity URL can be used instead of the KUID. Configuration can only be done by Cloud Ops, and there are no plans to allow customers to customize it further. Thanks for your feedback!

  5. Change task notification emails to use Vanity name and not KUID

K2 Cloud users do not like seeing KUIDs in task notification emails as they are suspicious of the formatting of the mailbox and are then reluctant to click on the task links in the email.

Task notifications need to use the Vanity name for mailboxes instead.

  6. Add new Office UI Fabric Theme

It would be fantastic to have an Office UI Fabric theme to replace the SharePoint 2013 theme. This will produce a consistent experience for users in Office 365/SharePoint Online

  8. Selecting multiple controls at once

It would drastically improve the design-time experience if we could select multiple controls on a view and edit their shared styles (for example the font size/color etc). Now each control has to be selected and updated separately.

Thanks for your feedback. With the new Style Profile Designer, styling can be set once and impact multiple controls. Currently functionality allows you to set colors, but we have more features planned for future releases to include control styling. Also watch for the coming feature to add custom CSS into Style Profiles, releasing later this year for both K2 Five and K2 Cloud.

  9. Set Global Form Defaults (Fonts, Sizes, Weights, etc.) Independant of SharePoint Settings

Often we need forms to use different fonts, sizes and weights other then what the SharePoint site the form sits on uses. When we do, we have to change every control to adhere to the design changes that we want to get the form to look the way we want. If we had the ability to tell the form to stop inheriting these settings from the SharePoint site and to use these settings instead, then it would save a whole bunch of design time effort.

Thanks for your feedback. With the new Style Profile feature, you can select what colors your controls should use. We are planning on adding additional functionality for fonts and control styles in the future, along with custom CSS releasing later this year. This should allow you to set your styling independent of SharePoint and also without having to set each control's properties.

  10. Allow Tabs to be Formatted

Currently, we cannot format for the form tabs. This would allow for the fonts used on those tab labels to be the same as the ones we use on the form.

Style Profiles can be used to change the colors on tabs, and watch for the coming feature to add custom CSS into Style Profiles, releasing later this year for both K2 Five and K2 Cloud. 11. Upload and reference a different style sheet

To piggy back onto the custom class property (https://ideas.k2.com/ideas/APIT-I-187) . It would also be nice to be able to apply a custom style sheet to the application. During the application creation, the user could attach a custom style sheet (or a duplicate of the current one could be added.) All forms and views would use this style sheet and the developer could make changes to the style sheet, add new class rules, upload a replacement in the event they worked on one offline.

When you went to the style panel for a control, it could show you the…
