  2. Ability to specify the account that starts a Scheduled Workflow

    In K2 4.7 a scheduled workflow was always started as the K2 Service Account.

    In K2 Five this was changed so the scheduled workflow will get started as the user account that created the schedule.

    It would be nice if the actual user account can be specified when creating the schedule. Additionally the List View showing the existing schedules in K2 Management should show the user that is designated to start the Workflow.

  3. Add warning message in case of use of Go to activity from Management site to avoid important issue with split branches.

    We found the following issue:

    "Fix issue: after go to activity, the workflow stop at the next merge step."

    We heard that it won't be possible to change that quickly, but it would be good, in the short term, to get a popup window with an explicit warning when clicking on "Goto Activity" in Management, to explain that it doesn't work with split branches.
    It would be even better to automatically check if the selected step is in a branch, and then prevent the "Goto Activity" from occurring in such cases.

  4. Ability to add file types to the Blacklist in Management

    This would allow admins to add the blacklisted file types to the system without having to go and manually config the web.config files on the server.

  5. K2 Management - Go to activity for Several Instances

    It would be nice to be able to select several process instances and still redirect them to a "Go to Activity" from K2 Management.

  6. Add domain prefix for object names in K2 Management GUI

    Currently (5.3 FP36) domain prefix is not displayed throughout K2 Management UI which causes confusion for users in multi-domain environments - when domain default groups like Domain Users from different domains are added in Workflow Server or Workflow rights they look indistinguishable, and it looks like if the same group was added two or more times. That confuses K2 users/admins and even leads them to think that we ignore domain prefix/information somehow (which is not the case, it is pure UI issue).

  7. Statistics on Form use / K2 Site hits

    Hi,

    Would you consider adding something to Workspace which can display Hits on individual forms and the entire K2 Site?

    In the world of demonstrating K2 usage to management etc, I am keen to gather stats on Form accesses (hits) and overall hits for a K2 site using a user-defined date range.

  8. Option to select and Redirect, Release, Share Multiple Tasks in K2 Management

    Useful: Multiple tasks on which same action (Redirect, Release, Share) needs to be taken can be done in one go, instead of selecting one by one

  9. Load modified K2 Configuration Files (Log Settings) Without Having to Restart K2 Server service

    Every time we need to change our logging levels to troubleshoot problems, it results in a config file change amd restarting the K2 Server service which in turn results in a K2 outage. These can only be done after business hours.

    It would be beneficial if K2 could load new configuration file settings without having to take an outage. This is true for Host Server Logs and SMO logs. I am sure it also applied to other areas, but these are the two logs that would result in expediting resolutions if they could be done during the day.

  10. Proactive license expiration notifications

    Tracking license expiration dates across multiple environments can be challenging and create a disruption of service risks for business-sensitive, high volume applications. Tracking license keys via the Management portal is not enough and there should be a way to proactively warn customers about their near expiration licenses.

  11. Expiring license keys lock you out out of the k2management/the update process is too heavy

    This is so frustrating. When license keys expire, we are forced to run the configure process, which a) takes quite a bit of time b) occasionally modifies our configuration files since we have custom authentication in place (custom configuration) c) we are used to managing ALL aspects of K2 Management through the browser d) depending on the version of K2, sometimes we will be prompted to update IIS, .Net core libraries This seems completely unnecessary.   12. Colored banner to delineate between/among environments

    We have two K2 environments, Cert and Prod. It would help us stay out of trouble if we could have a simple Management setting to change the color of the top banner in Designer, Management, and Workspace marking what environment you're in at a given time.

    Also, a button to easily switch environments (maybe also in the top banner) that opens the other environment in a new tab, could be a cool feature.

  13. K2 Five Management: Ability to Change the Pagination Value (Items per page) 10 is Too Low

    The current default for pagination, items per page in Management is 10.
    This is a very low number.

    Please consider giving the ability to change this amount (you were able to do so in Workspace).

  14. Syslog Support

    k2 needs to be able to send all, or at least configurable actions to syslog. This would allow for system like splunk to do more advanced log analysis. This should be configurable to logging down to even the form submission and workflow steps, with the output for each steps with the submission id so we can report on all actions relative to a submission.

    We can assign members to K2 roles and use it for authorization in forms/ views and it would be great if we can also grant workflow rights to K2 roles.

  16. Enable OOF delegates in K2 to receive custom task notifications instead of default ones

    It is required for localization of messages.

    This possibility will allow us to more often use the mechanism of the OOF in various tasks.
    Now most users of the standard messages are marked as spam and, accordingly, do nothing with the set task.

  17. Move Workflows to different category on K2 Management Screen

    At the moment when a workflow is deployed it will be available on the K2 Management screen in whatever category it is deployed in. However, if you use a category structure layout of Forms,Views,Smartobjects and Workflows all workflows no matter what application will be for will be grouped under one folder.

    It would be a great feature if we were allowed to organise the K2 Management screen so we are able to group workflows together say for example per application or project rather than just whatever folder they were deployed in.

  18. Easy rollback/restore older versions of Views, Forms and SMOs

    Currently, the only way to rollback views and forms is via a stored procedure in the K2 database. As we can all agree, it is not the best way to do it.

    My idea is to have this functionality inside K2 Management console or Designer. Currently we already have a way to rollback to previous versions of workflows in workspace. Why not extend this functionality to forms and views?

  19. Allow people to remove themselves from roles.

    In 4.6.11, you were able to remove yourself from a role. This is no longer the case with 4.7 and onwards. It appears as if this change was introduced with the 4.7 management pages (Before the "Authorization Framework" came along in K2 5.0.) Now, if I need to remove myself from a role, I have to ask someone else to do it for me, and this is a bit of a pain.

  20. "One click" export (or backup) of platform configuration settings

    Managing multiple configurations (and tiers) of K2 requires making frequent changes to the platform's configuration. Properly fined tuned platform, requires at times multiple revisions of settings. Going back, restoring or snapshotting the

    current state is not easy. Being able to export (or archive with the current date) ALL existing settings would save quite a bit of admin time.
