  1. K2 Five SYNC (AD\LDAP) - Excluding specific objects or OUs during Syncing is not possible currently

Currently, When we add a new domain to the K2 Five Identity Sync, there is no option to Exclude specific objects or OUs. Customers with multiple domains may require this feature as there could be same ID across multiple domains. In which case, searching by User Id or the First Name/Last Name appears to have multiple results for the same user which makes it difficult to pick the right account in the result set.

  2. Show ViewFlow of Subworkflows

When starting a Subworkflow in K2 Five, the ViewFlow doesn't allow to view the ViewFlow of the Subworkflow.

A connection e.g. by clicking the Subworkflow-icon would be useful.

  4. Allow list views connected to K2 for SharePoint to page and filter with K2 standard controls

Currently a list view with a smart object that points to SharePoint misbehaves when paging or searching/filtering with default list tools. It only works with certain methods. please allow for all methods or document reasons why its built as such

  6. Have a warning message/popup when the upgrade/Update/Cumulative Update/Fix pack if the current user is not the same from the last execution

We can lost lot of time if we execute the upgrade, Update, Cumulative Update or Fix pack with a "simple" user account.
Could you add a warning message like this:
'Warning: you are connected as "Bob", the last time a K2 setup has been executed, you used the account "K2Service"'

In the same time, you can check if the execution has been done with the right click "Run as administrator" with a corresponding warning:
'Warning: you didn't execute this setup with "Run as administrator"'

    Thank you
    regards
    Benoit

  7. Request to have an option to set K2 service account to call or start an IPC or sub-workflows

In K2 version 4.7 (and previous versions), when the main workflow calls an IPC/sub-workflow, it uses the K2 service account to start the sub-workflow (IPC). Now, in K2 Five, when the main workflow calls the sub-workflow (or IPC), it uses the workflow Originator user's account instead of the K2 service account. With this changed, we are now encountering some issues...

    1. When a workflow has a sub-workflow (or IPC) and the user (originator) started a task and assined it to another user. Then later the user (originator) who started the task left the company or was terminated (The originator is no…

  8. Restrict reminder on task step to certain users and not all task recipients.

We would like to limit the task reminder to go to certain users who are on the task. So in the task reminder section, I have set the reminder to 7 days, and edited the email section to only email reminders to task approvers who have a certain role. So in my case, there are two users who get the task assigned, one has a role of originator and the other the role of approver. I only want the reminder to go to the approver, so I have a smart obejct that gets the email address of the person who…

  9. Functionality to turn off/on SmartActions on all forms

To allow a toggle (similar to that for the Action Bar in Management for K2 Workspace) to set the default for all actions to be visible/invisible on the worklist view.

We currently use the worklist view on the landing page of our forms and due to the business requirements all SmartActions should be set to invisible to make the user open the form and review it before approval.

Currently in K2 Workflows, the default setting is visible - if there was the toggle, this could be set in Management, reducing the effort required by developers and preventing any user errors…

  12. Support the SharePoint Version History for list entries

With K2 Forms it is not possible to show the valid Data of an list entry version in SharePoint.

With SharePoint Standard Forms everything works correct but with K2 Forms we always see only the data of the current valid version and not the data of the older version which we choose to display in the version history.

This would be a helpful function.

  13. View dependencies of service instances

It would be useful to be able to view any dependencies of service instances e.g. what smart object methods might be using a particular SQL service instance.

Quite often when moving to a new company, I find that people have created service instances, SQL instances, from custom brokers, etc and then ditched it and then started again with a new one. Probably occurs with early days development. But it would be good to be able to delete any custom service instances that are not required / being used.

  15. Show a message if a user task is already actioned on a Basic Task Form

When a Workflow assigns task to a User/Approver and if the User/approver has already actioned the Task, the Basic Task Form fields are empty. Instead it should display a Message that says "The task is already Actioned". This is a feature request that should be be rolled out with the Product as Customer with huge amount of workflows will not be able to modify each and every workflow to show a User friendly message

  16. Cannot use keyboard with date picker on k2 five form

You should be able to use the keyboard, including tab, with the date picker control on a k2 five form. I suspect that not being unable to use the keyboard is a contravention of accessibility guidelines? We have already had complaints from a client and the usability of this control is now in stark contrast to any other date picker control that I have ever encountered. Interested to hear about why this approach has been chosen? Thanks

  17. Ability to specify the account that starts a Scheduled Workflow

In K2 4.7 a scheduled workflow was always started as the K2 Service Account.

In K2 Five this was changed so the scheduled workflow will get started as the user account that created the schedule.

It would be nice if the actual user account can be specified when creating the schedule. Additionally the List View showing the existing schedules in K2 Management should show the user that is designated to start the Workflow.

  18. Content control should have administrative configuration to restrict what domains are allowed to embed content from

Currently the SmartForms content control can embed content from any domain/site instead of allowing an administrator to restrict it to certain sites/domain that are known to be safe.

The idea is to allow an environment administrator to add restrictions for the content control similar to what SharePoint does:
    https://support.office.com/en-ie/article/allow-or-restrict-the-ability-to-embed-content-on-sharepoint-pages-e7baf83f-09d0-4bd1-9058-4aa483ee137b

    Options that should be available:
    Allow Any Domain
    Restrict to whitelist of domains
    explicit: help.denallix.com
    wildcard: *.denallix.com
Automatically includes all domains associated with smartForms
Do not allow content injection (Not essential)
Prevents the control from being used on new forms/views

Configuration must be available through management site so that platform admins…

  19. No built-in CAPTCHA type control or integration to prevent automatic form submission by bots

When exposing anonymous SmartForms to the internet or on a corporate website, there is currently no built-in way to prevent malicious bots from submitting the form and potentially creating millions of illegitimate entries.

Adding a custom CAPTCHA type implementation before the form loads is not sufficiently effective seeing that once a malicious user gets passed the CAPTCHA prompt it would allow them to see all the SmartForm requests that can be used by a bot to submit the form automatically.

A built in CAPTCHA type control and integration would be best - The idea is that it would allow a…

  20. Validation rules on SmartObject input properties that validates input values server side whenever a SmartObject is executed

Currently all validation rules that are built in SmartForms are executed client side which is not great for data integrity.

Seeing that SmartObjects are seen as the data layer, it would be great to be able to configure validation rules on input properties as part of the SmartObject's design.

Examples of Validation types that should be available:
Regular expressions (ex email address, social security number, etc)
    Value comparisons - Ex Value < 100
    Property comparisons - Property1 >= Property2

Once a SmartObject is designed with these validation rules, the validation should be executed server side whenever the SmartObject is executed…
