  1. Expandable and collapsible Change Log: Grouped by major version

    The Change Log tab on the map view has very useful information, however it can be difficult to pick out at a glance some of the most important details, namely what has changed from one major version to the next. Please consider an expandable and collapsible change log (see mockup attached). This approach would have all change activities grouped by major version (with the exception of latest changes not yet published).

  2. Process and Document change report by role

    Most of our team members do not have active directory identity. These roles do not receive email notifications of changes affecting their role, and when they access Promapp via minimode (via generic staff room kiosk), the system does not know their role to be able to show changes relevant to their role. The workaround for us will be to produce a report of process and document changes and email this to their management teams to communicate changes in face to face huddles. To facilitate this, it would be very helpful if there was an option in Process Change Log report…

  3. Optional sign on needs to provide seamless access for SSO users

    When Optional sign on is configured provide seamless access for SSO-based users so that don't see the login screen.

  4. Improvements Module - Disabling of Locations

    We use the Improvements Module extensively to report our incidents and complaints. The Location field is of course an important field which determines where the item is sent to and the subsequent workflow. However we have now had the improvements module for about 4 years and our 'Locations' are changing. We cannot remove ones that have been previously used and if we type over ones they are changed historically back through items that are open and even closed. Should there not be an ability to disable location selections?

  5. Dashboard notification for archived processes

    Currently when a process that uses the ALL STAFF role gets archived all users get notified via their dashboard. This causes unnecessary confusion among users.
    Could the notification for archived processes be changed so that only the Process Owner and Process Expert are notified, or if that cannot be done then no notification is sent.

  6. Showcase comparison of published versions

    Users must follow discrete instructions to see changes from last published version... Make sure they're on Procedure tab (not offered anywhere else), click Cog icon, then Highlight Changes, then Compare. That's awfully hidden. Wonder if this can be somehow made more obvious.

    Hi Jerome – Since we talked last about this when I was at your office, I’ve done a bit more digging and I’ve found that any time I go to a newly updated process (procedure view) it automatically shows me everything that has changed. Are there additional use cases where your team isn’t seeing those updates or are you requesting something specific related to the map view?

  7. Improve how a user can find Promapp functions

    Would like to have a 'Where to find' tab or search field or option in cog wheel drop down. As a relatively new user still learning to navigate Promapp, some things are difficult to find (quickly). For example, currently the Change Log is (hidden) under the Map tab which does not seem to be a logical connect given most of the time we are in the Procedure tab.
    Using the Help Search function compounded my navigation difficulties by producing a lot of blurb but not giving me a one line 'where to find' response (see attached).

    Thank you for this suggestion, I can see how this would be valuable. This is not on our near term roadmap but I have opened it up for voting to gauge wider interest.

    On the help front we are moving to a new help system that will make searching and navigation MUCH easier. I expect that to roll out over the next several months (some of the topics have already moved so stay tuned)

  9. Bulk import Default Location

    We are now using the PVM module but need to go through and apply the default location of over 1600 people. We cannot do this in bulk like you can with the Import User Template in which you can apply everyone's viewing permissions can we? Any other option? It looks like the only option is opening up each user profile one by one.
    It would be helpful for the User Import Template to have a column for Default Location too.

  10. Surface email addresses in Reports.

    Can we surface email addresses in the reports so that Owners and Experts can be easily emailed from any report. This accounts for any discrepancies between the Names in any report and official names that link to emails in our company systems.

  12. Users' viewing rights, minimode sharing restriction to third parties and expired processes automated notification

    Users editing: see viewing rights granted on the users tab of Promapp, not only the editor rights. Possibly it would be great to edit viewing rights there.

    Minimode sharing: can Promapp add a safe guard by password or link expiry? Currently processes shared via minimode can be viewed any competitors if they possess the link.

    Expiring processes: can there be a better email notification to notify users via email about their expirced processes for example on a monthly basis?

  13. Add version number in the "to approve" and "to publish" list

    Having the version number in the "to approve" and "to publish" list enables the publisher and approver to establish whether or not this is the first time a process is coming though the approvals process and as such prioritise these above ones which are just being changed.

  14. Limited Number of Items when Printing

    We need to print 'Manuals' for clients. For example, we may be asked to supply our 'Safety Manual'. Having moved to Promapp, the way to supply this is to print the 'Safety Process group' with all associated processes. However we keep getting an error saying there are too many items to print.
    Please look to increase the items limit (if a limit is required at all).
    Its also not clear what an 'item' is.

  15. Create option to link to network file path rather than pop error message

    When linking documents to files in a network path we often have to past the path into a note to avoid using the upload link option that pops up an error message. It would be way more efficient to actually link to the file path, so users can go directly to the file (if they have access) rather than copying and pasting into Explorer.

  16. Training module: Display reference numbers and versions of processes

    When processes are referenced in the training unit or competency, they do not display current version or the reference number of the process. If this was added, it would allow us to instantly create a training record which shows the version at the time of training.

    Currently what we are doing is filling in a separate form which lists all the relevant processes - so this form is another document which needs to be maintained, when all the information is there in Promapp, it just doesn't display for us, (only the process title is visible

  17. Ability to customize control identifier names

    In the Risk module, would like to be able to name control identifiers ourselves to ensure they match nomenclature from other systems (such as MetricStream)

  19. Promaster comments on Processes

    Have the function where Promasters can leave 'internal' comments on Processes for other Promasters to view.

    This could be useful to track how processes are going and any discussions that have been had with the process owner/experts without leaving it as a feedback for everyone to see.

    Happy to elaborate on different use cases if needed.

  20. Portfolio (Raise Ticket) Notifications Manager

    Currently when an Improvement is created from feedback (Raise Ticket Button), all Process stakeholders are added to the Improvement as a 'Viewer'. This means that the email notifications about the improvement go to these users as well.

    I would like to be able to dis/allow process stakeholders being added to the improvements raised from feedback.

    This would be helpful in keeping feedback workflow within Promapp. e.g. User submits feedback on process, Process Analyst reviews feedback item and raises ticket (Auto-closing feedback item with ticket reference). Raised ticket can them go through improvements workflow as expected.
