Allow an option for a conditional activity
Currently we only have the option to link a conditional process. Could there be a toggle which allows you to choose a conditional activity OR a conditional process ? (like the decision box offers)
Sometimes we have to turn a single activity into a published process just to get a conditional link.

I support this improvement. The current work-arounds of "note" or "parallel activity" do not accurately reflect the intention of a conditional activity. There are many examples where a conditional process is adding unnecessary complexity to a process, such as with an infrequent inspection etc. where the activity doesn't warrant their own sub-process. Please add this :)

Totally agree, this would be excellent. The workarounds don't work... a note isn't visible enough in map view, and creating a separate process just for one activity is (sorry) just dumb. Thanks!

This request should be given higher priority because we are facing more instances where a conditional Activity is more appropriate than a conditional process, and a note does not work because there are key tasks that need to be prominent and the role/s need to be assigned correctly to those tasks.

Running into the same issue, where my condition/s are a little more than a note, but not a whole other process. More often than not, these exceptions are handled and go straight back into the same line. An example of this is an expense claim that is over a certain amount and for a particular department. This may require additional approval and or process due to the $$ size, but once this is done, the process carries on as per normal.

Thanks for the suggestion. Currently any conditional steps could be captured in a note but I see the advantage of having these displayed on the process map.
I'll open this up for voting to gather interest from other clients.
