Optimize print capabilities
Processes are printed with the configured document types displayed as text only e.g. a checklist or form that is required to complete a task step. In order to obtain the form, the user has to return to the process and print the required document. Adding the configured document types as a 'Print Option' will allow the user to select the document type required to complete the process in one step rather than having to return, search and print what is required.

Share Function to share mini mode links
When using the share function from the app use the mini mode link so that the person who is receiving the shared link does not need to login to promapp

Please make the 'response required' feature on the feedback defaulted with a tick.
Many users are forgetting to tick this button when leaving feedback.
As far as I can tell - the feedback then shows in your feedback dashboard with a green symbol next to it. When it is green it does add to the count of feedback items to be completed and does not appear on my email to remind me to update this feedback.

Improvement Module Change Log - capture all information
The Improvements Module change log does not seem to capture all changes. In this case an action had been deleted by a user. The change log indicated an action had been deleted but it didn't document what action had been deleted. In this instance, it was accidentally deleted by the user and required to be reinstated. We were unable to do so as the original wording of the action was not captured in the change log. It is thought that a true change log/audit trail should capture the detail of what happened [action/text detail], by whom [user] and when [time/date].…

Report identifying the number of process-specific variations across all groups. Currently, there is no easy way to understand what processes have specific variations.

Create config setting to restrict ability to Manage Groups
The ability to create and manage Groups is causing issues with the defined structure regardless of the training that has been provided to editors.
Improvement idea:
Create a config setting to allow edit ability for Groups to be restricted to Promasters only, to Promasters and Business Analysts only (i.e. two options.2 votes -
Accurate cost calculation
The timeframes/costs have been designed the average cost per hour calculation doesn't take into consideration the number of working hours in the configuration settings, it uses the 8 hours regardless of this setting.
As 8 hours is not applicable to our business, we have different working hours in configuration setting. We have to recalculate cost manually when we use cost data from Promapp.
It would be great if the cost calculation formula take consideration the number of working hours in the configuration settings.

Restrict viewing of linked processes in the output /input when sharing Minimode link
Is this a bug or an improvement request - minimode sharing correctly restricts access to sub-process links; however, process links found in the input/output are freely available.
When sharing minimode link we only want the external users to see that specific process information only (including the linked documents). However, any links to any processes should give the user an error message that they do not have access.

Training Module: Ability to manually set training notifications & to deactivate training if training requirement changes
Our training owners are finding that their dashboard is becoming incredibly clogged with notifications for overdue training due to the fact that we have uploaded historic data in order to retain a record of training completed across the organisation. Our training owners are proactively managing the training status/needs analysis from the Training Unit itself, rather than from their Dashboard. However, in order to ensure Promapp functions properly, they need to clear their dashboard of these notifications each day. This can take up to 10 minutes each time, which is incredibly frustrating. Would be great if we could turn notifications off…
7 votesWe are looking to how to make the notification management much easier. I don’t have a timeline for you but we are actively investigating better usability.

Ability to transfer documents due for review to new staff
Having the ability to transfer documents that are overdue for review to new staff will be very helpful. Currently documents overdue for review cannot be transferred. The last person that uploaded the documents is reported on however we have people that have left the organisation and it is difficult as a Promaster to get new staff to review and upload new versions. Having the ability to transfer documents like with processes in the user administration tab etc would be very helpful.

Improvements Module - Disabling of Locations
We use the Improvements Module extensively to report our incidents and complaints. The Location field is of course an important field which determines where the item is sent to and the subsequent workflow. However we have now had the improvements module for about 4 years and our 'Locations' are changing. We cannot remove ones that have been previously used and if we type over ones they are changed historically back through items that are open and even closed. Should there not be an ability to disable location selections?

Auto generate combined process map
One of the major strength's of Promapp is the ability to connect individual processes to show the bigger picture and create context.
To help create this, some of our teams are creating 'overview' processes which are made up of Process Links (no additional activities).However these take a bit of time to create and manage and it would be useful if they could be auto-generated (even if they didn't have swim lanes). I've seen this done before in other process mapping tools where it draws arrows between the processes that have a relationship (through triggers/outputs).

Navigation Buttons
Similar to the "Back" button request, but a bit more expanded than that.
Have a "Back" and "Refresh" button, then also have 'breadcrumbs' of your navigation activity (instead of hierarchy of location path).For example, if I clicked on Home, then Admin Users settings, then All Documents the 'breadcrumb' will show:
Home > Users > All DocumentsAnd they are all hyperlinked so you can jump back to that page when clicking on it in the 'breadcrumb'.

Risk - Assign Risks To A Role
I administer the Promapp Risks Module. Risk in the module can only be assigned to a person (name) not to a role. This means there is a lot of manual handling when someone leaves. Treatments can be assigned to a role – which works better because you add the role and the person changes automatically. It would be good if risks could also be assigned to a role (or an individual) the same as treatments. This would reduce manual handling and ensure risks remain current.

Include ability to do text formatting within tasks and notes (text editor)
This request has come up time and time again and pertains to procedure view rather than map view. There are times we'd like to call special attention to viewer to some section(s) and currently it's quite challenging.
