  1. Bring back the "Give Your feedback on your processes" section on the Home Page (with the smiley faces)

    Before the new rebrand/new look and feel of Nintex Promapp, on the homepage there was a "Give your feedback on your processes" where users could click on smiley faces to give us positive feedback, suggests improvements, and contact us for help via the "Argh, I'm Confused" smiley faces.

    This section was extremely useful for the teams who were new to the system and wanted to ask for help as it was eye-catching and easy to understand.

  2. Ability to change the "Promaster" terminology across the system

    Could we please have the ability to change the "Promaster" terminology across the platform - similar to how we can Exec Sponsor Title and Lead Process Champion Title?

    We are finding the team are unnecessarily contacting the Nintex Promapp support team for questions that could be directed to the "Promasters" instead. When they go to the Help Menu they have to pick between the options "Contact Support" or "Contact Promaster" and as "Promaster" is not a role tile or responsibility within our organisation, team members often mistakenly choose "Contact Support".

  3. User Dashboard

    We have a Process Dashboard but a new pivot could be to also have as user dashboard.

    This dashboard could be sortable by timeframe. It could show total users that accessed the tool during the time frame, processes viewed, unique users each days in that time frame. This would make it easier to present data.

  4. Showing linked docs/png etc on change log

    Today our discussion resulted in an additional piece of information for change log functionality.

    Though we have the ability to put in comments. A great addition, would be having an indicator if an additional file is added or linked and a call out. Allowing for easier identification to revert to that point.

  5. Turn off scroll wheel zooming for embed pages

    When you embed a process in a SharePoint site, scrolling the page often ends up with the process map zooming out as you scroll past it.

    It would be good to change the default scroll behaviour to NOT change the zoom level, either in embedded pages, or within Promapp.

  6. Enable 2 separate role allocation lists in the user profile (primary & secondary roles)

    Having the ability to allocate roles in 2 separate lists would enable roles to be allocated as a primary role or roles i.e. main job, and secondary role or roles i.e. interested in, which would effectively be a means to 'subscribe' to process notifications.

    The secondary role could be controlled by the user themselves as well in the User management page.

    The content of the notification email could be segregate by primary and secondary roles so the user can see which updates affect them directly and those that they have an interest in.

  7. Clearer text in relation to Decision points

    Have had a request from one of our staff members - if you are reading the procedure text, rather than looking at the process map, it's a little confusing when you come to a decision point.

    Your options if you are linking to an activity as your yes or no are NEXT ACTIVITY and CONTINUE. It is not all that clear which bit is the next activity and which bit is the continuation (particularly for new users).

    The suggestion is that the text be clearer e.g. GO TO ACTIVITY 5.0, so you can tell exactly where to go. I know…

  8. SAML - Attribute Based Assignment possible

    We are shifting to AzureAD as our Identity and Access Solution. We have been told your product doesn't support Attribute-Based Assignment.

    The assignment of users should be able to be completed using with attribute-based functions Example expression:
    AAD Group = "MarketingUsers" then added to Promapp role “Marketing”

    Users can then be assigned the correct roles when they join or move teams automatically instead of the manual process which involves a delay to the user and a waste of admin time in provisioning and in UAR (user access review)

  9. Aditional User Type allowed to Create Porcesses in Certain Allocated Groups

    There seems to be no middle ground between allowing all users to create process maps to then restricting it to only POs,PMs and BAs. It would be good to allow some users to be able to create process maps in selected groups, but not give them the same admin rights and powers of a BA or a PM.

  10. search window in minimode

    When sharing a process group or groups in minimode, recipients can't avail of a search function. They have to click through the hierarchy and forage to find relevant processes, documents or forms.
    Having the awesome Promapp Search functionality in minimode would make this feature so much more powerful.

  11. Ability to modify approval settings

    It would be good to have the ability to modify approval settings/configurations for the approval module in Promapp. E.g. have settings for processes previously published and only updated not have to go through an approval process and just to go the publishing stage to be reviewed. Also the ability to set if stakeholders have to approve processes and settings that if a Promaster approves a process then other approver's tasks are over-ridden and the process goes for publishing are a few settings that would be nice to be able to modify.

  12. Add the option to assign the sub-process in a portfolio to a system (where the process is automated)

    We want to assign a sub-process within a portfolio (mega-process) to a system (Oracle) as the sub-process called ‘Generate PO and send to Supplier’ is done automatically by the Oracle system.
    We have Oracle listed on our Promapp systems list, and can use it to assign swimlanes within a process to certain steps, but it does not come up as an option to assign it in the portfolio level.

  13. Have the option to split company dashboard into lower groups for embedding.

    The company dashboard shows useful data, however, we have three sub-groups that have separate viewing permissions and only want to display the information for one of these. At the moment there is only the option to embed the whole dashboard or quite manually generate a separate dashboard.

  14. Restrict "group management" to Promasters - Functional Model

    Restrict "group management" to Promasters. I have had instances of users creating groups and it is making our folder structure wonky
    We have it set so the "users" are the ones still in training, and only have access to the training folder. Once they produce a few maps, we update their settings to "business analyst" so they can create maps anywhere in the system. We don't want them creating folders/groups though.

  15. Cost Summary Tab on Process Group Maps

    Provide a cost tab on the Group Process Map that displays a sum total of all the calculate sub processes total and allow for export to Excel.

    There currently is no "Cost" tab available on the Process Group level. Our company provides process efficiency consulting as a part of our sales cycle and need to show an ROI comparison of the current process cost and the estimated cost of our proposed process.   16. Make swimlanes systems-agnostic

    Currently, swimlanes are auto-created every time a new combination of role/responsibility or system is entered into the "assign role" section of an activity.

    This creates multiple swimlanes if the same role uses different systems within a process, resulting in a messy process map.

    Having system tags in an activity is a useful function, though.

    It would be excellent to be able to "switch off" the inclusion of systems as determinants of additional swimlanes.

  19. Display change description in dashboard (even when auto-publish is on)

    When a process is sent for approval, the editor enters a short description of the change. This appears on the dashboard and helps the approvers understand what has changed.

    However when Auto-Publish is turned on, this change message is over written with a generic message "All approvals received. Auto published because no Publishers specified." This message isn't helpful for users and confuses some people, while the original change description provides relevant information but is now hidden. The change description can be found in the process change log, but this isn't an area that most people will visit.

  20. Ability to configure process map default view

    As the administrator I would like the ability to change the default view of a process map (or have multiple views for different users) to display what is relevant for the viewer. E.g. someone in the field would be interested in seeing just a map or process but not all the other details on timeframes, RACI, review date, etc. where as others may need to see some of that info or all of that info.
