It would be really useful to be able to add a variable to the instance name, to help identify what the particular instance is related too.24 votes
Currently, if forms in Nintex Workflow Cloud require support for multiple languages, the designer has to create a form for every language required. As an NWC workflow start event only supports one form, it means creating a workflow for every language required (unless someone has a better way).
It would be great if NWC supported language variations or, at the very least, allow one workflow to support multiple forms for language variations.3 votes
Thanks for your suggestion, Tim.
LOVE the side config panels for Start Event and Form Styles. Would really like the Form Rules to also be a side panel too. Toggling between tabs is time consuming.1 vote
Thanks for your suggestion Isaiah. Our rules engine has evolved quite a lot and is a lot more powerful – therefore will not fit into the size of the config panel.
We have discussed how a rule could be created while still retaining context of the form designer. I dont have anything to share at this time, but will update this ticket if the status changes.
New page functionality is great! Wouldn't it be nice to make the pages conditionally appear based on other fields.102 votes
Thanks for your suggestion Liam. We would like to do it, its just a matter of priority against all other features for Universal Forms at the moment.
It would be nice to have some sort of Save and Continue button in NWC. If we could save a form can cache the data or something and have the ability to comeback and finish it that would be great.57 votes
Thanks for your suggestion Ben. This has been added to the backlog.
It would be good if we could automatically populate a single choice Form control (in my case it would be a drop-down list) using JSON objects obtained from a custom API (maybe populate the list by using an on Form load Rule?), and have it submit the supplied 'value' upon submission (in my case it would be a UID relating to records in our bespoke system).
This functionality I am after already exists within the Workflow Designer, via the values defined in the x-ntx-dynamic-values JSON vendor extension, but it does not appear to be possible within the Form Designer.23 votes
Thanks for your suggestion Sam. We are currently looking into our Data Sources feature which allows you to connect to different systems and populate a drop down control.
I need to build a rule, that a specific date can't be greater than today. So a variable with the current date would be very useful.47 votes
Thanks for your suggestion. A ‘Today’ token is something we are considering.
Please add Exchange Online triggers and actions to Nintex Workflow Cloud. I would love to be able to use the following examples:
- Run workflow when an email is received
- Move email to folder
- Get email
And I also would love to be able to get these ability for Office Group Mailboxes.50 votes
Has anyone ever mentioned form templates in NWC? If not, it should be a thing.7 votes
Thanks for your suggestion Lina. This is something we have discussed internally and have added to our backlog.
For a phone field, the text mask needs to be different based on the country.
eg US = --xxxx AU = xx-xxxx-xxxx
Post code mask
US XXXXX, AU XXXX, and UK has multiple masks.20 votes
Thanks for your suggestion. Would you find regex useful? Or do you have something else in mind?
After submitting a form the form redirects to the success message which is always "Form submitted successfully."
Although it's possible to route to another publicly available site instead, it would be awesome to just modify the text message to reflect different languages. In our case it would be sufficient to have that text in German without the need to build a whole site for this and host it.18 votes
Thanks for your suggestion Dan. It is something we have been discussing internally and put into the backlog.
In the nintex sharepoint forms, you can specify how many columns you would like your choices to be laid out in. This makes it easy to configure your form so it is easily readable. In the NWC form, it is only possible to have your choices in a single column (sometimes this can be super lonh) or running together. in a row (hard to scan). It would be helpful to be able to have additional formatting options, like multi-column8 votes
Thanks for your suggestion Julie.
Right now the validation error message of the e-mail control in NWC is "The email is not valid."
It would be helpful to add custom messages so that we can translate this message to different languages or additional information.16 votes
Thanks for your suggestion Enrico. We are looking into custom validation messages as part of Universal Forms.
With the 'When form loads' rule builder, we should not expose the 'Form' 'Is loaded' selection in the UI. This is redundant based on the button that the user just selected.
We also should automatically expose the 'Browser Query Parameter' as that is really the information that the user needs, and without it being exposed, there's nothing in the UI that lets the user know it even exists.1 vote
Thanks for your suggestion Jonathan. We are currently looking into how we can improve the way rules are represented in Nintex Forms.
