  1. Ability to remove Wait for Task completion for NWC tasks.

Allow the ability to remove the "Wait for Task Completion" stop on NWC Tasks like how it is in O365.

There are many scenarios where I need to have the workflow continue on without waiting for a task to be complete. Instead, I use variables/fields to identify if the task is completed or not. Then later on in the process, if that task isn't completed but needs to be before the workflow can continue on, I simply check the variable to decide if it can continue.

I do this with 99% of my workflow tasks in O365 and it works…

  2. Allow query of NWC Tasks by assignee

There is a big push to use NWC over O365 for workflows, but I am unable to utilize NWC for our core workflows because I can't send one email that lists all of the tasks waiting for each person.

in the old SharePoint, users got individual email reminders for each active task. They hated it and it resulted in them ignoring the emails or creating rules to hide them because there were too many. They are all excited that in Nintex, I am sending them only 1 daily reminder email that lists all of the open tasks for them, including…

  3. Ability to tag a user or a group using the @User function in the NWC Microsoft Teams - Post to a channel (Beta) action.

We will like to see the possibility to tag a Person using the @User function in Microsoft Teams using the NWC Microsoft Teams - Post to a channel (Beta) action.

It will be nice to tag this user via a variable.

  4. Nested choice fields or the ability to sort other choice fields based on earlier choices

It would be nice to have the ability to use nested/sub choice fields or the ability to filter other choice fields based on earlier choices. For example, I choose A on choice #1. So because of that, choice #2 filters what is available because of a choice selection. Or display certain choice fields based on what is selected from choice #1. I can accomplish the latter with rules but this is painful if you need many sub choices based on the first choice.

  5. Ability for fill in choices for the 'Choice - multiple' control

It would be great if Forms supported fill in choices (other) like SharePoint supports.

Thanks for your suggestion. I have updated the idea to be specific to ‘Choice – multiple’.

This has been added to the backlog. If this changes, I will update the status of this idea.

  6. DEV Testing

I was just reading up about the testing feature within the NWC workflow designer. I've used this feature before and have found it helpful for some of my less complex workflows for testing simpler ideas. I've found that I do not make use of it with my production workflows however because it still sends out tasks and emails to whoever they are typically assigned to. When I do testing I can't be sending my vendors and coworkers extraneous emails. It'd be helpful to have the testing feature default all emails and tasks to my own email rather than running them…

  7. Default Value for Data Lookup

Should be able to determine a default value for a Data Lookup control. This could be configured so that the default would be the "first" value returned by the control, or when the data lookup only returns one value it automatically becomes the value that is displayed.

  9. Email link to Saved Form NWC

It would be fantastic if it was possible to configure an email to be sent with a link to a 'saved' form whenever the save button is utilised for an Authenticated Form.
In our organisation the majority of users do not have access to MyNintex and thus despite all forms being authenticated, it is not possible to use the save functionality. Ideally this email would have the same functionality as the 'Assign a task' email.

  10. Execute a SmartObject event - Support for Documents and Files (load)

Would be great if we could load documents and files out of K2 Cloud SmartObjects into NWC for use in NWC actions such as upload file to Box or DropBox. Presently for example the load event for a SO Event brings back the record metadata but will exclude the document or file itself if the load event is called. There is no GetDocument method.

  11. Exclude weekends from task assignment reminders and escalations

Hi there, it would be great to be able to cater for business days only (exclude weekends), when configuring NWC task assignment reminders and escalations. Currently when specifying days as part of reminders and escalations there seems to be no easy way to exclude weekends. Thanks.

  12. Increase File Upload Size Limit for NWC.

The file upload action for Nintex Workflow Cloud is currently limited ot 25MB files. But we are seeing more and more need to increase this file size limit. A 250MB limit like what is on Nintex Workflow for O365 would be a great start.

  13. Contributor Permission level with Workflow Variables created from NWC Automate Start menu

I'll try to make this short winded. The problem or what I want to solve for is having dynamic text (variable) within an NWC workflow form that can change dynamically of something exterior of the Form/Workflow within a Label, Description, or potentially other where a user whom is not a workflow designer can contribute without changing anything or accessing the workflow itself. Let me explain further on the architecture...I'm hoping for a "Contributor" whom owns the process but does not need access to the workflow, think almost a permission level between a participant and designer, where they could potentially see…

  14. Make component workflow outputs optional

We have a few component workflows that return multiple output variables, but we don't always care about all the outputs in every situation. There's a number of built in actions with outputs (Call a Web Service) where the outputs aren't required, and don't need to be defined in order to save/use the action.

It would be nice if the outputs of a component workflow were optional, so that we don't have to create variables to store data we don't always care about?

  15. Tenant-wide variables

It would be great to be able to configure tenant-wide variables (maybe as a tab in the settings section of the tenant). This would allow creating variables accessible in all forms/workflows that define legal disclaimers or even image urls, so that when updated in this one location chages would be automatically be reflected in all forms.

(Not sure how feesible this is as unsure if the workflows/forms would need to be republished to reflect the variable change).

  16. Customizable Dashboards

It would be great to be able to fully customize a dashboard within Nintex. My team needs our workflows to reports on non-standard metrics (such as each instance's position on a Branch-By-Stage action item). To create a dashboard that can report on that information we have had to create a chain of four separate softwares to allow us to report information to SmartSheet and create a dashboard there.

Some of the features we would like to see in a dashboard include:
    - reporting links to forms
    - reporting customized instance variables
    - creating summary visuals to roll up case numbers…

  17. Insert Variables Flyout idea

The Insert Variables flyout shown when inserting variables into an action's configuration should either not close when scrolling through the action's properties, or there should be a checkbox in that flyout to not close it when scrolling through the properties, default to not checked.

I find that if I have to insert a lot of variables into an action configuration (Create Item in Office 365 for example) then if I have to scroll down to reach more fields, the flyout will close, requiring me to open it again and search for the variables I was last at to insert more…

Thanks for the feedback and to let you know we are always evaluating and evolving the layouts and designs across the product.

Today you filtering is supporting and if you use them with tags this will assist with categorisation.

  19. Unable to get the repeating section values to be added on the approval form in NWC

In the Nintex Workflow Cloud Form we are using the repeating section, the process starts with Form submission then proceed with Task Approval. When developing the Task Approval Form we cannot get the repeating section values to be added on the Task Approval Form.

  20. Ability to view & delete list item attachments in task form

We need the ability to view and delete attachments that are attached to a SharePoint list item, from a task form.

When approvers need to approve a form, they need to be able to see the attachments associated with the item. And if necessary, they may want to replace one of the existing attachments with a different attachment so they should be able to delete a specific attachment and then upload a new one.
