Repeating Section or Tables for for loading dynamic data
Nintrex Workflow Cloud needs a method of re-populating repeating sections or use of dynamic tables. My scenario is as follows: a form is completed and may have a repeating section field with one or more rows; the data is stored, including data about bow many rows were created in the repeating section. Later the data is retrieved and needs to repopulate the fields so the form may be amended in some way. I am unable to do this with the current form tools. Tables are a defacto part of many forms and I don't understand why they aren't available in…

Save and complete task form later
I would really love to see an option where I can save a task form and edit it later on, like the start forms.

Forms - Multiple and Single Select Type New Option
Ability to type text in the field if the option Is not available in the list.
It is not available in either of the Fields - Multiple or Single Select.
Also giving the drop-down option to multiple select, so the form looks cleaner and does not have several check boxes to select.
Aware of these:
1) Create a Text Short Field -> change Visible to NO2) In your dropdown, add a value called "Please select"
3) Create a rule -> If drop down value is "Please Select" then Visible to yes for the text field and else visible to…

Create PDF Rule of Completed Form
The ability from a form rule to create a PDF of the completed form.
Often on submit customers want to save a copy of the completed form itself in PDF format to a document store for record keep purposes.
Developers don't want to create a separate report for this purpose, a quick and dirty print to PDF that looks reasonably clean will tick the box for this requirement for auditability requirements.
The document should then be made available within the workflow to save away accordingly in a workflow event.

Security trim a form so only users who have permissions can access the form
Capability to show hide forms according to whom business owner decides. Some forms should only be available for few users within the business/department and the process owner should be able to give remove access.

If anyone has any feedback to share on how they see this capability working then please reach out to me directly.

Ability to manually enter a date in Date field
There are occasions when completing a Date field is a little cumbersome, since you have to use the calendar popup. It's not a big deal if you're selecting a date in the near past or near future, but if you're trying to enter (for example) a birthdate or hire date, you have to do a lot of clicking to go back to the appropriate year and then potentially click several more times to get to the appropriate month. Our previous forms software allowed for manual entering of dates (while still proscribing the format, e.g., DD/MM/YYYY); it would be nice if…
4 votesWe have started work on improving the usability of the date/time control and expect it to land in the next 2 months. Hope this helps.

How to pre-populate Repeating Rows from SharePoint Lists Items
I managed to capture information from Nintex Workflow Cloud form and save it in SharePoint List. Now, I want to design a form for Updating or Editing a record based from the SP List. How can I auto populate repeating section based on Sharepoint List item values for my Update/Edit form?

Add a List View control in Form Designer - Nintex Workflow Cloud
I'm having a requirement that I need to show a "list" of items inside the Nintex Form and for each item I need to give additional upload button, download button and a "Yes/No" field.
Currently, there is no solution for displaying a list from SharePoint (or from other databases) inside Nintex Form.
It'll be so helpful if you add a "List View" control in the Form Designer or please suggest me any alternative solution.Regards,
Anirudh9 votesThank you for your input Anirudh. Would you also expand on use case? Why the download and upload? What is the participant trying to accomplish with this form?
We like to open this up for voting as well.

Make barcode scanning via camera work in forms that are running in mobile browser window
Barcode scanning via camera is only available when you open the Nintex form in Nintex Mobile.
Please make barcode scanning work with forms that are running in mobile browser window (including forms with access restriction set to "anyone with the URL")3 votesHi Eryk,
Thanks for the suggestion, we will update this ticket, if we have anything to share on this idea.

Form Rules for Multiple select
Ability to choose multiple options under one selection, rather than creating rules for each option. Please see the User Department attachment for an example of another company doing this.
Currently, we have to make several options to do this, please see multiple Nintex example. This also restricts us at 15 and I have more divisions than that - cannot use another as that conflicts with this rule.
Than kyou

Pre-populating Answers and Repeating Sections
In my organisation, forms need be signed-off by several levels of management before they are complete. If they're unsatisfied with anything, this can be passed back to the previous stage. This means I need to save and recover the current answers, then pre-populate them in the form at each stage.
Currently I do this by saving answers to a SQL database, then recalling them as a comma delimited string and using a substring to 'cut up' the answers. I did try extracting each answer as a row in a Collection (by using a Pivot table in SQL), but this required…

Copy Form Control from one form to another within a Workflow
Currnently you can copy/duplicate a form control only within the same form. It would be great if we could copy and paste form controls from one form to another within a workflow.

Provide whole form data as a JSON object
Hello,
I have a workflow with 8-10 levels of approval. The workflow is initiated by an API. I then have to copy the data points (about 100 fields) into a local variable. I then have a task form which will be set with default values from local variable. In essence I need to display all the data received to the Approver.
Now I have further challenge. Approvers can make changes to data before Approving. After every stage of Approval I need to send a snapshot of information back to the API.
This means I need to copy the data one…

The ability to save drafts with a name
We are using forms as check-lists where the users will have to revisit forms over multiple days. The save draft allows us to do this - however, the users might have multiple drafts of the same form. Therefore we would love a simple feature that allows to save the draft with a name. This would make it easier for the user to find the correct draft instead of going through all of them.
10 votesThank you very much for your feedback. We have added this to our product backlog. The availability of this feature is to be determined.

Allow setting of default value(s) for a Person Control in a Task Form, or allow the dynamic setting of Person Control values by Form Rule.
Allow setting of default value(s) for a Person Control in a Task Form, or allow the dynamic setting of Person Control values by Form Rule. This would be useful in cases where the Task performer needs to adjust an existing list of people. Unfortunately the old trick of using a Form Rule doesn't work here because the Value of the Person control is not available to set. Nintex Support (Case #00430175) confirms that this functionality does not yet exist and there is no current workaround.

Default value feature for multiple choice fields
Much like other form controls, it would be great if we could select a default value for the multiple choice control (checkboxes).
I have a use case where I'd like to be able to use multiple choice control responses in the initial form to pre-populate a multiple choice control in a subsequent approval form.

Add SVG as a supported image file type to the Image Control
The NWC Image Control allows you to display an image from a URL, but only supports a few image file types such as JPG and PNG. Many images are now SVG file type. It would be great if SVG was added as a supported image file type.

Data Look up from SQL Server on a Form
There needs to be a way to pull/show data on the Form using the Data Lookup from a SQL Database. Many Forms we have information that users can pick or we show users in a label the information that come out of SQL Databases instead of having to hardcode the choices into the drop down choice especially when this data can change or not show them important information they might need to make a decision on the form in a label.
