  1. allow preview of mass document packages

    We use the mass document feature to send multiple certificates of completion. We would like to ensure that the document looks correct before sending (i.e. that a long name hasn't forced text to overflow to a new page).

  2. Allow prioritization of automated DDPs

    When documents are requested via Workflow and Outbound Message, they are queued up on the servers in the order that the messages are sent (FIFO).

    Where some of the requested documents are more time sensitive than others, it would be great to be able to flag to the OB Message so that the server would identify that request as high priority and generate it before the other (not high priority) documents in the queue.

    A possible deliverable could be a second parallel Queue whose documents would always generate before any in the main queue allowing for FIFO on the high…

  3. Create ability to run Insert-Updates and compile documents in an order selected by the author.

    I have a case where I need to:
    1. Compile a document
    2. Create a case object
    3. Compile a final document with a link to the case that was created.

    This is not possible today because the system automatically compiles both documents first and then creates the case. So the final document that should link to the case that was created instead links to the last case that was created on an account. Please update Drawloop to allow us to set the order that items are compiled.

  4. Ability to include pulling feed attachments from multiple objects

    When creating a DDP, we need files across multiple objects to be combined and rendered as distinct pages in a consolidated document. This has been confirmed as a known issue.

  5. Allow calculations in form fields.

    It would be useful to have calculations performed by Drawloop from data input into form fields, without the need for using Excel as Middleware. This would expand the form capabilities and simplify the process. For example, if you have a contract price and you need a 10% deposit, the form should be able to calculate the deposit field from the contract price and % entered.

  6. Drawloop doesn't differentiate between Custom fields and standard field names

    Tried to set up a letter template and I wanted to use the contact's title (e.g. Mr) in the template, however the Drawloop Tag is identical to another Label and it’s therefore pulling back “Dear Monty” instead.

    Label Tag Value

    Salutation / Greeting <<Contact_Salutation>> Dear Monty
    Title <<Contact_Salutation>> Mr

    I’ve spoken to our developers who have said “The standard Salesforce field’s API name is “Contact.Salutation”. Our custom field’s API name is “Contact.Salutationc”. For some reason, the Drawlook field tagger doesn’t distinguish between standard and custom field names; it doesn’t observe the ‘c’ appendix.

  7. More Flexible Expiration Options for DDPs

    There should be more flexibility in assigning expiration dates to individual DDPs. Right now, you can only specify the number of days until expiration. What if we could choose a specific day of the month the package would expire on? What if we could specify document expiration on the first day of each month or the last day of each month? I think this would be incredibly helpful to a lot of users.

  8. Add sum row as merge fields when using Report as data source.

    Currently, using Reports as a data source only allows you to pull in a tabular column of data (further calculation requires using Excel as middleware). I would like to see the summary row at the bottom of a tabular report be made available as a series of merge fields as well. For example, the current syntax for a report column is <<AnyRangecol1>>; the sum for that column could be <<AnyRangecolsum>>.

  9. Summary Relationships

    Drawloop doesn't make it too easy to summarize data from multiple records. It always involves writing a custom SOQL query; in itself not too hard but then it can't be easily combined with a Table/Row structure in multiple records.

    I'd love to see you guys add a declarative solution for aggregated data that fits within the Table/Row structure, please.

  10. Update Existing Content

    I'm currently using 'Salesforce Files' which creates a content record for the DDP. Salesforce supports content versioning making it easy for users to 'attach a new version' however this isn't supported in Drawloop.

    It would be next level, if you could give us options to insert a new file, but if it exists, update the content. This would give us one static URL to the content and make navigating our Notes & Attachments sections much easier!

  11. Enhance Lookup Relationships

    As is, the lookup relationship type doesn't have much value. It only works in a single record scenario. Please consider enhancing lookup relationships so that if they're part of a table or row the lookup relationship automatically replicates. This would allow us to tag records to reference the correct lookup record.

    Today, if a lookup relationship is part of a table or row, all tables/rows only reference the first lookup record making them have very little value.

  12. Attach as Zip

    I have Drawloop Document Packages that generate multiple files. The users become frustrated though because they're all attached a single downloadable files. It would be great, if Drawloop had the option to attach as a Zip file.

    The download option in the document queue does not meet our business needs due to collaboration, unfortunately.

  14. Feature Request: Create Relationship from existing Relationships

    Currently, you can create relationships based on the same object by using aliases, but if one is a direct subset of another, you must create it with redundant filters and poll the database for a whole new query. Instead, it would be useful to create relationships based on ones that are already created. This would avoid redundant filters and potentially improve performance.

    Example of current functionality:
    Alias 1: Pull Accounts matching filters A and B from entire database.
    Alias 2: Pull Accounts matching filters A and C from entire database.

    Example of desired functionality:
    Alias 1: Pull Accounts matching filters…

  15. Ability to Run Own Usage Reports

    The ability to run usage reports at a user level. We need to know if our users are creating the set amount of documents when utilizing the Drawloop app. This keeps the managers in the know and ensures every user is using the application to perform certain goals throughout the quarter. Have asked for this report manually on a monthly basis, but it is not enough as the report request gets lost or someone forgets to ask for it.

  16. Enable Rich Text Fields in Drawloop Documents

    Drawloop Document Generation does not support tags of Rich Text Fields in a document template. This needs to be enabled as we use have large RTF data fields that need to be dropped in but cannot.

  17. Ability to generate document to upload to SharePoint and also store a copy as attachment at same time ?

    My requirement is to every time when user selects "Office 365" delivery option. A copy of the generated document should also be attached to the record from which the document package was run is Salesforce.

  18. Dynamic dates field tags

    It would be great idea to have more options than Now, Today and Tomorrow for date field tags. For example a Today + 14 days field tag would enable the document to not always have to be updated with a future date at every instance of ddp generation

  19. There should be some mechanism to automate the migration of word template changes from one org to the next.

    Currently, ddp's can only be migrated in an automated fashion once. After that any changes made in the word templates in a ddp have to be made manually in all orgs. This should be automated. The word templates should migrate to qa, staging and to prod (rather than making the changes manually in each template in each org).

  20. Reduce the size of width from a Picture attached as optional to a document.

    When you add an optional picture attachment chosen from the record attachments it would be nice the picture will be resized to the page-width of the document. When you have now a picture attached separately (Optional) and the width is much bigger than the width of the document you can hardly read the output of the document created by the DDP.
