  1. DocGen Form Date Formatting

DDP Form date fields are currently hard coded to display in US date format (mm/dd/yyyy). We need date fields to show in the date format per our regional settings (ie dd/mm/yyyy for Aus users).

  2. Clone Relationships without having to clone a DocGen Package

DocGen does not allow an easy way to reuse Relationships within different Packages. It would be nice to be able to clone or copy relationships over to new DocGen packages being created.
Right now, I have to clone an existing to be able to pull in ALL the relationships previously created; then when you want a different Output it is inefficient to have to modify.

  3. Send generated documents to the Document Queue as Files instead of attachments

When a document is sent to the queue, it is sent as an attachment instead of a file. Our process is automated through an outbound message so when a generated document goes over the 5MB attachment size limit, the outbound message errors out and no document is produced.

If the generated document was sent to the queue as a file, we would be able to produce documents up to 2GB in size.

  5. Allow Sub-Totals on table replication

We use DocGen (Drawloop) on Opportunities. The DocGen can create multiple tables great, but there is not way to create a sub-total on each total.
For instance a Quote with Table 1 for Products and Table 2 for Services. We have the ability to make the tables, but we cannot create sub-totals of each table.

  6. Lightning Button in DocGen Queue to sort multi-file output from a single MassGen run consistently

When a single DocGen package outputs a letter and its corresponding outer envelope, these need to be sorted consistently so that they can be handled efficiently in mailing. Currently this is only possible using a One Click Javascript button (code attached from Nintex Support), which is unavailable in Lightning.

  7. Ability to attach Files from Desktop to Email delivery with multiple attachments

When having multiple attachments come through in an Email delivery, the ability to attach files from your desktop is not existent. Today if an email is generated via a delivery option and it has multiple attachments you can only add additional attachments from Salesforce Documents

  8. Ability to Bullet Lists in Components/Component Groups

We often use Bullets in our formatting and other HTML type improvements for our emails and letter templates. We are somewhat limited when using Component and Component Groups due to these restrictions.

Line spacing is also not as ideal as preferred.

  9. Send email notification when delivery via FTP or SFTP

Add ability to send an email notification when delivering a document by FTP or SFTP. The email notification should not contain the document attached. This should be fore manual DDPs and for automated/scheduled DDPs

  10. Show the email address for the recipient in DocGen package Email delivery option

When using Email as delivery option, the 'To' only displays the name of the Contact selected. Suggest that it also displays the email address to allow a final confirmation that the contact has an email address/it's a correct address. My client has a BCC set so the email always sends successfully (because the User is BCC'd) and there is no alert to suggest that the Contact may not have received the email.

  11. Ability to select Additional To and BCC in Lightning

In lightning when Email deliverability is selected users have option to search for Contact or Leads on To field. But on Additional To field search functionality is not available which is there on classic. Users have to manually additional emails and paste in Additional To field. Also, in lightning BCC field is blank it should populate with users email like in classic

  12. Lightning Console Compatability

There is no way to use the lightning console navigation with DocGen without using the lightning component. The lightning component for DocGen cannot sort files, but going through the button allows it. Salesforce does NOT allow javascript buttons on lightning. Please upgrade this feature as it's been neglected since the release of lightning console navigation.

  13. Pause to Edit feature in lightning component

Pause to Edit feature in Lightning component is not compatible. Currently, we need to go to Classic to generate a document and edit before sending it. Or, generate a button with Pause to Edit functionality which will transfer you to a different page. Very timely workarounds.

  14. Console app navigation

After sending email through email delivery option, it should redirect the origin record tab/sub-tab in the Console app.

  15. Field Tagger option to display tags in ALL CAPS.

Would like the ability to have the field tagger display tags in ALL CAPS for insurance/financial use cases where the generated document should have applicants info in ALL CAPS. Currently have to go into Fonts and set ALL CAPS on tags.

  16. Option to merge an object's attachments seperate from templates

I have a DDP that needs an excel template, and multiple files pulled from an object. This is not an issue, however, there is no way to have the excel template to be its own file and have a merged PDF of multiple files on an object record. It's only possible to either merge everything into a PDF output, or have the output use the originals and a combined PDF.

My proposed solution to this problem is to add a "Template Output Type" selection field in the template's options, the same as the "Document Output Type" picklist in the delivery…

  17. dynamically include templates

Add multiple filter criteria to dynamically include template files to Salesforce-DDP application for document generation.
Currently, only a single criteria for fetching the templates during RunDDP is available. It will be really useful when multiple criteria can be set up for template selection. This feature can reduce multiple document creation for the same object and process flow.

  18. Use Files instead of Documents

Files offers features like previews and version control, while Documents does not. I suggest switching so that we can take advantage of such features.

  19. doc queue buttons not working in Lightning

None of the doc queue buttons work in Salesforce Lightning. All the Doc Queue buttons like the Download1PDF and few other custom buttons created using the button wizard still using the One Click Java script which is not at all an option in the Lightning. These need to be changed to support in Lightning.

  20. Support Account Contact Relationship Salesforce Object

Salesforce released a new feature in Summer 16, contacts to multiple accounts. This feature allows one contact to have a direct relationship with one account as well as many indirect relationships.

When creating a DDP I can only choose my recipient from contacts that have a direct relationship with an account, not an indirect relationship. We have a work around, we reassign the contact to a different account, but it would sure be great if we didn't have to do that. It would be perfect if Drawloop would support the new contact model and show all contact associated with an…
