  1. Push notifications

When new tasks arrive in the mobile app, it would be great if the app could make a notification on the mobile.

And when notification is activated, the app should open with the task.

  3. Personalization of form layout

    • Ability to format controls for Mobile App forms (eg. bold font, colour of font, size of font).
    • Ability to insert Logo / images.
    • Ability to have popup alerts, custom validation rules.

  4. Look and feel of choice controls

Dropdowns, radio buttons, checkboxes, all look the same in the Mobile App and appears in a second screen when clicked. Is it possible to make them look like the web version and have the events on the same page rather than going onto another screen?

Also the Yes/No button is an On/Off switch, which a lot of users have said it is not clear.

We are currently working on a new responsive designer. This new engine will be the same across SharePoint, Office365, Nintex Workflow Cloud and Nintex Mobile. Since it is the same engine, the controls will be the same and look the same.

You can already see this when using Nintex Mobile with Nintex Workflow Cloud and support for the new designer is coming to Office365 very soon.

  5. SQL Request control for Nintex Mobile

Our mobile forms would be more 'smart' if they could query data stored in SQL databases.

  6. New Responsive Forms in AppStudio

The New Responsive Forms are currently not supported within Nintex AppStudio. This means that we loose the new functionality developed for New Responsive Forms - signature panel especially.

Currently only .XML and .nfp forms are allowed.

  7. Add ability to include digital signatures with Doc Gen for PDF and Word docs

Since customers are paying extra for the ability to generate documents (PDF's specifically in our case), the ability to have those signatures be included in the generated PDF is critical.

We have a customer who requires employees to digitally sign a mobile form in the field immediately following an evaluation (often with no network access, so DocuSign is not an option). The workflow generates a PDF of the form and copies to this PDF and a list item to a separate site collection.

The ability to render the signatures in the PDF should be included in the standard functionality, especially…

  8. Allow Offline Images that are Site Assets

Allow offline images on the mobile form that are assets behind firewalls or in O365 environments or from the same SharePoint site the form is downloaded from. Currently, only publicly available images are possible.

  10. It is not possible to view/edit the list lookup configuration after it's been inserted, in Nintex Workflows for Office 365

Currently, if configure an Update list item action, and configure to update an item property based on a list lookup value. Once you have inserted the list lookup value, it is not possible to revisit this and amend the configuration.

  11. Support for Managed Metadata Fields in Mobile Apps

Managed Metadata is a core part of most SharePoint implementations yet these fields are not supported in Nintex Mobile Apps which is a major flaw and a blocker for most organisations from adopting the mobile apps.

  12. Nintex Mobile created with Nintex Studio App dos not work with AirWatch Per-App VPN tunnel.

After some investigations we have concluded that Nintex Mobile created with Nintex Studio App dos not work with AirWatch Per-App VPN tunnel. If you are using the default Nintex Mobile app from the AppStore or Google Play Store, this app is able to connect with AirWatch Per-App VPN tunnel.

We have tested with version 8.0.0 of Nintex Mobile on iPad.

  14. Prompt for change password ---Nintex Mobile

Nintex Mobile has a phenomenon is that if a user changed his password,he open the APP,it prompts password error ,then the user need
to open the system setting and look around, until they can change it.The operation is troublesome.
So,when user changed their password and open the APP again.
Can you pop up the prompt box to remind the user to change the password?

Our clients are in this situation, so can NiNtex Mobile increase the functionality of APP automatically prompting changes to the password dialog box?

  16. Ability to display mobile forms via Nintex Mobile within a specific location perimeter (geofence)

Consider a field-based employee that needs to enter data at multiple site locations. It would be extremely useful to display ONLY forms within a geofence of say 1/2 mile radius (configurable).

In today's technology, this would be a great feature to have.

@James This is a fantastic idea. Would the idea be that the user is only able to open the form at that location or do you see the feature as more of a filter that helps him find the relevant for the location?

We should also considered the reliability of getting a GPS position when in built up areas. Restricting access to a form could be annoying in this situation.

  17. Collapse and expand the list of mobile forms

When you are viewing the list of Nintex forms on the mobile app it would be great to expand and collapse the long list of forms. We will soon have over 200 forms on the mobile app and it would help if they were all collapsed to begin with before choosing the form. You could also place a count of forms next to each group title.

  18. Printing offline

We have seen a few use cases where people are in remote areas without cell signal and they need the ability to print a form offline. I.e. a field agent is doing a consultation and they need a stakeholder to sign off on something. Sometimes the stakeholders refuse to sign on a tablet, in which case the agent will print the form to a printer hooked up in their truck. If they do sign on the tablet they would want a record of their signature and printing would be useful.

  19. Lookup control refresh in Mobile Form

Would like to see the Form Lookup control to be able refresh in Mobile Form upon opening the Nintex Form on the Nintex Mobile App.

At the moment we have to refresh the List on the App before opening the Form to see the new update to the lookup control dropdown values.

  20. Ability to save form as PDF from Nintex Mobile

Currently our Nintex Mobile users are requesting the ability to save a form completed on their mobile device as a PDF. (Offline for example). This way they could potentially AirDrop the pdf to another user (without requiring data/wifi).

    Thanks for your suggestion Brian.

Would you expect to define a printing template to ensure the correct structure of the data (like Document Generation) or would you prefer a straight HTML conversion?

    Cheers,
    Euan
