  1. Ability to save form as PDF from Nintex Mobile

Currently our Nintex Mobile users are requesting the ability to save a form completed on their mobile device as a PDF. (Offline for example). This way they could potentially AirDrop the pdf to another user (without requiring data/wifi).

    Thanks for your suggestion Brian.

Would you expect to define a printing template to ensure the correct structure of the data (like Document Generation) or would you prefer a straight HTML conversion?

    Cheers,
    Euan

  2. Build custom HTML for Nintex Mobile/App Studio

We need to apply some custom links filled in a variable containing a variable of a href tags, in which each single hyperlink should show following code:

    <a href="{WorkflowVariable:var_url}" target="_blank">{WorkflowVariable:varurlname}</a>

This custom URL will need to be displayed in Nintex Mobile/App Studio. At the moment this is not possible using a "Multi Line Textbox" Form Control with "Rich Text" or "Enhanced Rich Text" in "Nintex Mobile Phone" or Nintex Mobile Tabled".

Also tested with other form controls such as "Label" or "Calculated Value" with the same result.

  5. ability to print to a bluetooth connected device

I have drivers that have mobile printers, It would be huge to be able to print to this device, but there is no way to select to printers connected to the phone or tablet.

  6. Support Responsive Forms for Nintex Mobile PC / Windows 10

According to Nintex Support, Responsive Forms are not currently supported on the Nintex Mobile App for Windows.
This means users on Surface tablets for example will be unable to complete offline forms built using responsive forms.

  7. Nintex App Studio doesn't generate fullsize app icons

When using a custom app icon, of 200x200plxs, icon does expand across the entire space available for it, and instead a white boarder is shown around the icon space.

This is visible when the icon is a colour other than white.

  9. It is not possible to view/edit the list lookup configuration after it's been inserted, in Nintex Workflows for Office 365

Currently, if configure an Update list item action, and configure to update an item property based on a list lookup value. Once you have inserted the list lookup value, it is not possible to revisit this and amend the configuration.

  11. Support for Managed Metadata Fields in Mobile Apps

Managed Metadata is a core part of most SharePoint implementations yet these fields are not supported in Nintex Mobile Apps which is a major flaw and a blocker for most organisations from adopting the mobile apps.

  12. SSO for Nintex Mobile and App Studio

To support shared tablet (iOS/Android) we need SSO support. We can use Air watch to handle multiple users but we can't get this to work without SSO.

  13. Ability to display mobile forms via Nintex Mobile within a specific location perimeter (geofence)

Consider a field-based employee that needs to enter data at multiple site locations. It would be extremely useful to display ONLY forms within a geofence of say 1/2 mile radius (configurable).

In today's technology, this would be a great feature to have.

@James This is a fantastic idea. Would the idea be that the user is only able to open the form at that location or do you see the feature as more of a filter that helps him find the relevant for the location?

We should also considered the reliability of getting a GPS position when in built up areas. Restricting access to a form could be annoying in this situation.

  14. Button in Nintex Mobile

I think a button in Nintex Mobile would be good.
    Common usage:
    1. go to next step (like a questionnaire)
    2. trigger warning message
    3. trigger an action

  16. Set value for list lookup control

I am currently using a list lookup control to replace the unsupported lookup() function to get data from a list as described below:
I have a list M with columns "User name", "Department", "Approver"
I am creating a form in which I want to show the item creator's username, department and approver directly by looking up list M in either text box or calculated field.
It comes out that the lookup() function is not supported in Nintex Mobile App
As an alternative, I use a list lookup to lookup the department and approver from list M by filtering the username.…

  18. Add image metadata

When users take/add images to their forms submission, sometimes they want to add extra information to it such as a description. The ability to annotate text as metadata would satisy this requirement.

This applies to Nintex mobile and Nintex forms.

  19. Add support for lookup() runtime function in Mobile Device.

Recently, the 'lookup()' runtime function was added to the Nintex Office365 Desktop forms, and it's a great addition.

Unfortunately, the functionality does not work in the Nintex Mobile app, which is where my users primarily make use of forms.

Would love to have this supported.

  20. Deletion of existing apps

At the moment it's not possible to delete apps, instead you can just overwrite them. It would be great if it's possible to really delete them, if not needed anymore.
