  1. PDF Markups

It is possible to add markups to images, but it would be nice if we had the same functionality for PDFs.

  2. kiosk mode

    Support Kiosk Mode in iOS/iPadOS

When applying the MDM Kiosk Mode from apple also known as single app mode, the device does not sleep, and will run the battery down as it wakes up every minute.

Request to have detection of single app mode and allow sleep mode of the device.

Use case is to have Forms configured for user onboarding or large groups of people to enter data.

  3. Account credentials not expiring

When using an Office 365 account (though this may apply to other types of account) resetting the password, forcing sign out from all sessions (via the 365 admin portal), or disabling the account does not prevent any devices signed in to Nintex mobile with that account from submitting (and receiving) forms and tasks. From my talks with Nintex support, this is 'by design' and is due to the authentication token that doesn't get invalidated when the password is reset.

Our customer and myself agree this is a major security flaw in the app, as users who have potentially left the…

  4. Nintex Mobile Accounts to filter forms based on Site rather than tenant

We have different Sites for different divisions. Each division/site has its own access and authorizations, and its own Nintex forms. Problem is, that an account pulls ALL forms from ALL sites in the tenant.

Currently Nintex Mobile supports multiple Accounts, however, it does not filter the forms to the url or site it is configured for, but the tenant itself.

Ideally an account would only pull the forms that the account site it was configured for.

    Kind Regards
    Chad

  6. New Responsive Forms in AppStudio

The New Responsive Forms are currently not supported within Nintex AppStudio. This means that we loose the new functionality developed for New Responsive Forms - signature panel especially.

Currently only .XML and .nfp forms are allowed.

  7. automatic removal of forms from app

There are times that a company needs to have users fill out a form only one time, but dont want to have multiple app for users. Need a way to expire a form without republishing it.

  8. Nintex Mobile created with Nintex Studio App dos not work with AirWatch Per-App VPN tunnel.

After some investigations we have concluded that Nintex Mobile created with Nintex Studio App dos not work with AirWatch Per-App VPN tunnel. If you are using the default Nintex Mobile app from the AppStore or Google Play Store, this app is able to connect with AirWatch Per-App VPN tunnel.

We have tested with version 8.0.0 of Nintex Mobile on iPad.

  9. The Nintex Mobile app needs to Support Modern security libraries MSAL

The Nintex Mobile app needs to Support Modern security libraries MSAL, With out this, SharePoint libraries protected by conditional access that require compliant devices will not work and the mobile app is useless.

  10. Allow different content types for images to be uploaded/linked

An error is caused by the Nintex application setting the Accept header to “application/json”, meaning that it will only accept a response content type of “application/json”. When requesting an image (type “image/png”) the server sees the mismatch with the accepted and response content types and generates the 406 error. Ideally the Nintex application would be changed to accept different content types to fix the issue.

  11. O365 Login embedded browser

Some corporations have conditional access rules that require Microsoft Edge as the only browser to open up SPO sites{Security reasons}.

Can you all configure the Nintex Mobile App to use the Default browser on the Device for authenticating/connecting to SPO/O365 sites.

Today the embedded browser in the Nintex Mobile app does not do this.

  12. Limited Rule Controls Displaying

When creating a form in responsive designer you can customise the form controls like fill (colour). Some of these rules controls do not display in the mobile app. E.g. when a choice field is negative to control fill changes to red. This will not display on the form in the app.

  13. Mobile Office 365 Re-Authentication

Currently when a user changes their password in Office 365 there is no indications in the mobile app that a re-authentication is needed unless the user drills deep into the app.

Users should be prompted to authenticate if mobile is unable to connect due to a network authentication error. The prompt should be bold and obvious.

  15. ben.stori@solutiondesign.com

I would love to see an update to Mobile App Studio, so we can use MDM to deploy the app to whoever we want to regardless if they are a part of the organization or not.

Think about being able to interact with people in a managed way to allow them to fill out forms or start a process without the need to be in your AD to log in. A lot more organization are dealing with external partners and it would be great to get mobile forms in their hands.

Open up the ability to create mobile apps with…

  16. Supporting of Nintex Mobile apps for Huawei's mobile device

  17. Refresh of the approval forms from the server

Once a form is loaded in the mobile app, it never updates from the server, unless you clear the cache in the app. Therefore, if something changes in the list item, the Approver will not see it and may overwrite it when they make a decision.
It would be great if the refresh button cleared the cache or if the user could be notified that there is a new version of the form and have the option to refresh it.

  18. Ability to utilize Button Control upon Submit in a Nintex mobile app

When submitting a form using the Nintex Mobile App, the button redirect should work within the mobile app. It works in the online Nintex form, but not the mobile app. Make it so, Nintex. Make it so!

  19. Display "Submit" form button in App Studio forms

When using a NWC-based form in App Studio, the standard "Submit" button (which shows up in the NWC form) does not show up in the mobile app. Instead, the user has to tap the paper airplane icon in the upper right hand corner to submit the form.

  20. Convert handwriting to Text

The ability on mobile devices to complete forms by writing with a stylus. The handwriting is then automatically converted to text and stored as usual. This allows mobile forms to feel like more like pen and paper.
