  1. Date picker to allow manual entry

Our users often struggle to fill in the date picker. I have been asked multiple times to make it easier to use, either by allowing to type a date or to make it behave more like the current browser date pickers.
Our forms usually ask for a date of birth, and our users have a hard time changing the year. Instead of clicking on the year field they use the 'left' arrow and feel frustrated.

  2. Multiple views and Form Load Rules

In InfoPath I have used multiple views of a form in combination with Form Load Rules to present a separate form for users on the same list depending on a rule. One example was a separate form for the initial add item and then another view when editing. The rule would just look at a required field and see if it is empty. Another example one form was used when adding and editing the initial record. The form had a field for adding additional lines and I used Nintex workflow to add these with a different value in one field…

  3. Clear non connected fields on a form

Would like the ability to clear unconnected fields on a Nintex Form when the form loads. Some customers have the requirement not to preserve form data to a unbound field on the form.

  4. Respect tab indentation in custom JavaScript

When you paste JS code in the Custom JavaScript section in your form settings, the designer wreaks havoc with you code if you use tab indentation instead of space indentation.
Is is just a pain to work with the designer and JavaScript this way when you have to change something.

  5. Nintex Mobile App Radio button are not supported

Currently the Nintex Mobile App doesn't display the Radio buttons, instead it shows the options as a drop down list.

We have built a QA process form which shows a poor design without Radio buttons.

Please include the Radio buttons in the Nintex Mobile App.

    Thanks

  6. Nintex Mobile Radio buttons alternative request

    Hi,

The biggest problem with radio buttons/choice controls on Nintex Mobile is that it defaults to the native behaviour of displaying all values in a list, such that selecting the control it "pushes" the list to a new window on the stack and the only screen you see IS the list. Users then select a value(s) and the user then "pops" the window off the stack returning the user to the page with the option choices value(s) shown.

There is an alternative behaviour that can be implemented, and I have done this as an iOS developer, and the behaviour I…

  9. When a user clicks the Today button on the Date/Time field, close the calendar.

When the "Today" button is clicked after opening the calendar, today's date is populated in the field, but the calendar view does not suppress. Would like the calendar to disappear upon clicking the "Today" button.

  11. Show % of form completed for user

When filling out long forms with numerous input fields, it would be good to show the user the progress that they made ; like a Progress bar that shows how much % of the form has been filled in and how much is left.

  12. End-User Auto-Save without a server call

It would be great to give the Nintex form the ability to auto-save when the end -users are filling in their forms. Currently we have the "Save and continue" option as well as the ability to do some Javascript that can save but those approaches still do a server call; which refreshes the page, slows down the data entry, can go out of focus and gives a very unfriendly user experience. We would like to give the user the same experience when working on MS Office 365 where their entries are auto-saved every X-Minutes/seconds and add a line on top…

  13. Nintex Forms access to External Secondary Fields

We need to get details from external Oracle database using BCS connection and show them on Nintex form.
We have created external content type which has one primary column and 4 secondary columns.
And created SharePoint column using that external content type.
On Nintex, we are able to add newly created SharePoint column but with primary column only.
How can we add other 4 secondary columns on Nintex form?
Because we can’t see other 4 columns on available SharePoint columns window in Nintex Forms.

Note : BCS connection working fine because when we save Nintex form with external SharePoint column…

  14. Nintex Live form authentication against Office365

The question has been posted on Nintex Community https://community.nintex.com/message/20231. It be nice if we can authenticate against Office365 for forms on Nintex Live.

  15. Adding add new row and deletion of row from repeating section to tab index

For creating ADA compliant forms the Add new row and the x in repeating sections needs to be added to the tab-index so end users with disabilities can easly add rows or delete rows.

  16. Allow fill-in choices for Managed Metadata fields

Right now, Nintex forms do not provide fill-in choices as seen here: http://help.nintex.com/en-US/o365/o365/O365Forms/FormControls/ManagedMetadata.htm

I would like Nintex to support fill-in submissions to MM fields.

  17. Multiple lines of text should be compatible with Kwizcom Clipboard Manager

It would be really really great if Nintex Forms multiple lines of text controls (in rich text mode) were compatible with Kwizcom Clipboard Manager (http://www.kwizcom.com/sharepoint-add-ons/SharePoint-clipboard-manager/overview/). This small add-on let the user copy and pasting an image by clicking on a button instead of creating an image file, uploading it in a document Library and then creating a link on the multiple line of text field to the uploaded image. This saves a lot of time!

  18. Be able to Start a workflow whilst Form is still open

It would be great to be able to get a workflow to start whilst the form is still open and the form remains open.

This would allow us to create complicated queries in the workflow that can be posted back to the user in real-time as opposed to them having to close the form and re-open. Whilst I appreciate that the time taken for a workflow to run can affect the user experience, being able to place a "spinning donut" styte wait control would help this, and then in the workflow you could have some sort of "Post back to…

  19. 'In Progress' Icon For Once a Form is Submitted

Once a form has been submitted, and before it goes to the redirect page, can a 'in progress' icon appear so an end user knows it is processing the form (currently it is just a blank webpage and has no feedback for the end user). This is especially evident when there are attachements, as these make the form submission slower.

  20. print

The Printing Functionality request which had 490 votes was closed by Nintex after the ability to Print was granted to the Enterprise version of Nintex Forms. Since many of those votes were from Nintex Standard users, I am creating a new item to request for the ability to print forms from Nintex Forms Standard. Please vote here to get your request back on the board.

    Thanks for your suggestion Victor.

As we are currently working on Universal Forms, we are revisiting our Print functionality and looking for user feedback to understanding your requirements.

If anyone would like to participate in a feedback session around printing Nintex Forms, please let me know in the comments below.

    Cheers,
    Euan
