  1. For all controls, allow the [connected to] property of the control to be set to an expression

For all controls, allow the [connected to] property of the control to be set to an expression.

It would be extremely useful for me because I have a form with a details section with many panels.Only one panel is shown based on selections at the top of the form. The problem is that the same control is used in multiple panels and duplicate controls in Forms does not work. Runtime binding would be awesome.

  3. Sorting a repeating section

Repeating sections allow the creation of additional rows, but the rows inside the section are always displayed in the same order.

Would it be complex to display the repeating section in a different order? based on the order of one of the row control?

The designer would define a parameter in the rpt section that list all the controls name in one row. designer would select one of those controls, and the repeating section would be displayed in that order in display mode. That could work with dates, numbers, texts...

Alternatively, another feature could be the ability to switch the…

  5. SQL Request Control Support for Office 365

The SQL Request control is only currently available on Nintex Forms for SharePoint on-premise and not Office 365.

Could we get this supported in Office 365?

    Regards

    Chad

  6. Allow checkboxes or alternate UI options for Managed Metadata Columns

Allow checkboxes or alternate UI options for selecting Managed Metadata Column data in form control. The stock SharePoint TreeView interface is not user friendly.

  7. People Picker validation on Form submission

At present when a form is submitted the people picker control is validated on user login. Can this be changed so the control is validated using Email address instead of the login name.

  8. Form variables in default control values and in labels

Currently, there is no option to use form variables in default control values and as reference values in labels.
    Examples:
    * Pre-populate default values depending on the user group membership in new forms.
    * Switch between different form views controlled by a drop-down depending on the user role.

  9. prevent users from deleting rows in repeating section

Would like to have the ability to toggle if users can remove rows in a repeating section using a runtime function and a named control. Currently on both classic and responsive, nintex forms only lets you use an expression where you can use inline functions and item properties.

What could also work is perhaps having the abillity to hide the "x" in the repeating section.

Use case could be a process where users add comments or data to a form but should not delete other peoples data.

  10. Responsive Column Number

Notice that with responsive forms design on-premise for SharePoint that we can only have 4 columns. Can we get the same increase for amount of columns you can have to match responsive form design in workflow cloud.

Thanks for your suggestion Kevin. We are working on bringing the forms engine from Nintex Workflow Cloud to SharePoint in the future. That will bring all the changes (including column increase) to SharePoint when released.

  11. SQL Control - Server and Database Global Constants

Each SQL Control needs to have the database server name specified as well as the database name. Please create a global form constant functionality that can be used to specify these values. We have SQL controls on 50+ forms and in the case a server name or database name changes, it is a painful process to locate each sql control, update it, and publish the form.

  12. Hide the disabled 'X' delete button in the first repeating table

When the repeating table control is used and only one table is displayed, the X delete button is still visible although its functionality is disabled and users attempt to click it. Have the X delete button appear when there are 2 or more tables.

  13. Get rid of lines on controls by default

Remove the lines on all controls and labels by default or make a setting, they just clutter things up and look terrible. Having to go in and adjust the CSS on every form every time is a pain. That pesky top line is a weird choice. Usability is inclusive of appearance and clutter.

  14. Input controls the same height: Classic forms.

Make ALL form controls the same height by default, Date inputs are shorter than dropdowns which are shorter than text inputs. Currently All (the same font) yet all different heights which looks terrible.

  15. Show only unique values with Lookups

If we could include the option to include only unique values when building a lookup control it'd be swell!

I.e. I have a list of Departments with their corresponding Group. Each Group has multiple Departments, so there are multiple lines of each Group in the list. I want to be able to show only the unique values for Group when I build a lookup!

  17. Button "Save and Continue" - Possibility to switch to View Mode

Button "Save and Continue" - Please introduce an option to switch to view mode instead of edit mode. This would be great for all forms that need to be printed right away.

  19. Soap request on Web Request action in Nintex forms.

Soap request on Web Request action in Nintex forms. Currently the Forms version of the Web Request action only allows Get or POST, it would be very useful if this also allowed SOAP requests like the Workflow Web Request Action does.

I recently implemented a Solution which interacts with SAP via Web Requests and unfortunately SAP is not able to process GET or POST, which means instead of being able to load the data on the form as the user goes we have had to do this in the workflow and create an additional task for the user to review…

  20. SQL Request Control in task form does not populate the existing list column values

Currently the SQL Request Control is able to capture existing list column value when open in edit mode in List Item form, but in Task form it is not pre-populating the original values from the list column. This is the major drawback when we use multi-level approvals with SQL Request control.
