Please provide the Tab order functionality. Its highly desireable in bigger forms.
Is there a way I can set the tab order in the Nintex form.
I’ve a form with multiple panels, and in each panel if I want to set the tab order, then how do I do that?
For example, in this form if I want that the tab index focus should be on salutation on the form load and then when the user press “tab” key it should be on First name, then Family name then primary phone and then should go to email and so on.
Please suggest some way to do that.
NO.. because there is no feature in control settings.
So please provide this feature and make the user experience better.
Thanks for your suggestion Saurabh. We hear the request for tab ordering from time to time and will put this request in the backlog.
As we are focused on Universal Forms, I dont expect this to be delivered in the medium term but will consider this for Universal Forms.

Yes, this is one of the great features of InfoPath, in that you can set the tab order.....especially for larger forms with lots of input fields
This needs to be a thing! Would be awesome... I've had to redo an entire form with 40 plus columns so the tab order would behave left to right as a typical spreadsheet would. Very frustrating.

Tab order adjustment would be very nice. I'm noticing that when using tab to move through rich text multi-line fields, I have to tab through all of the rich text formatting buttons (bold, italic, etc.).

Yes please. Would love this feature!
There are several questions/requests about this topic. It's time has come.
Build a configurable field into every controllable field (labels do not require it) that would allow the order to be set. If they could all be seen on a list that would be great.
Better yet, allow a SharePoint list view to be configured to match up to the tab stops. Then it could be reused between the New/Edit/Close forms for a particular list.
Got this answer to my question:
While this helps to solve the immediate need, but really just increases the js within the fields and the form. This form is a bit complex and quite honestly I don't need any more js to manage in it.
Got an answer to this question:
Cutting and pasting the controlls in the right order seemed to do the trick for me in a repeating section.
Might work for you?

Many of our users prefer to move from field to field on a form using the Tab keyboard key. When have a form design such that there are many controls on one row, sometimes the tab order doesn't make sense. For example, if you have Field 1, Field 2, Field 3, sometimes when you are on Field 2 and hit Tab instead of going to Field 3 it moves you back to Field 1. It would be nice to have an easy way to specify and adjust Tab order in the form designer to better control the user experience.

I want to change the tab order manually so that i can navigate using only the keyboard.
However, I have found no option in Nintex Forms to change the tab order manually.
That would be very good to lead the user through the Nintex forms.
