Customise the location of error messages
Ability for the designer to choose where to play error messages instead of always up at the top of the form.
For example, an error message for a required field, can be placed next to the field, or underneath the field, or a pop-up box alerting the user of the error.
At this stage we have no plans to change the validation message location for Classic Forms. We recommend you look at Responsive Forms if you users prefer the validaiton message below the field.
Once we have shipped Universal Forms for SharePoint, we will revisit the Classic experience.

See the attached file for the fix on your issue. You may add this to the CSS of your form on your settings. You would not need to scroll from the top to see the error validation, instead you can see it floating to your form wherever you scroll. Hope this helps a lot.
Really need this, and responsive isn't an option, as it doesn't allow custom JS or CSS.

I hope Nintex can address this issue. It has been asked by our end users many times that they want to see error messages under each field as the OOTB SharePoint form does, instead of a Summary of all errors
This is a serious sore point for our users. They fill out a long form, scrolling down the page, click "submit" and nothing happens. They click it a few more times, then scroll around to find the highlighted field. They fill in a bad value again and re-submit and nothing happens again. The whole time they never think to scroll all the way back up to the top for details. VERY annoying.
Show required fields (*) in the forms designer so I can quickly add the required validation text to the relevant controls that are required.
