Allow Copy and Paste across different Nintex Forms
It's great that Nintex Forms allows you to copy and paste controls within a form but sometimes I need to copy one or more controls from one form to another. I don't want to export and then import the whole form, that's too much work. I just need to copy a few controls between forms. I guess I'm asking for something like Workflow snippets to be enabled for Forms.
Thanks,
Bruce

Thanks for your suggestion Bruce. We have discussed this feature in the past and have added it to the backlog.
Cheers,
Euan

This issue was also raised in 2015:
I tried copying the controls I want to keep, importing the form I want to edit, and then pasting the controls that I copied. No chance!
The copied controls were no longer available after the import. -

Yes, please, please. Being able to copy and paste from one form to another would save an enormous amount of time! I am recreating 10 forms right now for my customer and the 10 forms already exist but each one needs a long list of controls and rules from another form. It would save so much time if I could somehow merge two complete forms or at least be able to copy and paste from one to another.

Adding that this would also be a huge time saver to be able to copy actions across workflows

I often need to wrap controls into sections with section heading and two-column control layout. And, with content type inheritance such sections are often repeated. Copying of such panels with nested controls between Item-to-Item and Item-to-Workflow Action forms would save tremendous amount of time. Please, put a priority on this request. It has been open for 32 months already! Hope to see it implemented with the Universal Forms, at least.

Absolutely yes, please. Exporting and importing the whole form works well enough when implementing new forms from scratch, but form snippets would be a great feature to use e.g. for roll-out of a specific new requirement to be implemented across multiple existing forms.

I second this function. I find myself going from one form to another, especially since going from 2013/2016 to O365 and I need to rebuild form/workflows

Yes, please do that as soon as possible. That would be great.

In creating the task forms, we often import a custom task form to be consistent. After that we customize it further based on the nature of the task. As the task changes, so does the information that is accompanied with it. All the additional information used to customize the task form is based on our initial form design. What a timesaver it would be to copy/paste from form to form! Form snippets sounds like a great idea.

That would be a massive time saver. More often than not what you need requires rework because it's different enough from the source that you basically need to start from scratch.
Plus it would help when you have a list form and different task forms throughout a workflow that doesn't allow you to export without having to redo other things that you have already done.

This would be a life saver. 40% of the development time is spent with defining fields one by one - manually - because there is no copy/paste for forms development.

This would be amazing!
