embed code for a nintex form
this would be a solution for orgs that cant use Ninex live. Alot of time we have the need to just embed a from in a page. in my opinion this should be much easier to share forms, and embed forms. just like embedding a youtube video... the webpart sometimes is too cumbersome and requires features to be installed.. please make this easier .. thanks.

Displayed formats such as currency, or comma separated values upon entry into form
When a user is entering a value it can be displayed in formats such as currency, or comma separated values Similar post suggests use of masks but the default should show currency type and commas when user enters the value into a currency or number type field.

Nintex Live List lookups
Nintex Live List lookups
I need the possibility to lookup Information in different SharePoint lists on forms published to Nintex live.
82 votesThanks for your suggestion Raphael.
This is a complex request as it would require caching (potentially) large amounts of information into the cloud. Once we ship Universal Forms for SharePoint, we will be revisiting our strategy around Live/External Forms.

Please provide the Tab order functionality. Its highly desireable in bigger forms.
Is there a way I can set the tab order in the Nintex form.
I’ve a form with multiple panels, and in each panel if I want to set the tab order, then how do I do that?
For example, in this form if I want that the tab index focus should be on salutation on the form load and then when the user press “tab” key it should be on First name, then Family name then primary phone and then should go to email and so on.
Please suggest some way to do that.
NO.. because there is no…
252 votesThanks for your suggestion Saurabh. We hear the request for tab ordering from time to time and will put this request in the backlog.
As we are focused on Universal Forms, I dont expect this to be delivered in the medium term but will consider this for Universal Forms.

date formatting
being able to set the date format to lessen any confusion around months and days for those global companies that deal with DD/MM/YY and MM/DD/YY https://jqueryui.com/datepicker/#date-formats
29 votesThanks for your suggestion Dan. We are currently implementing a new date picker for Universal Forms for SharePoint.
I will update this feature when we get closer to release.

Nintex Forms Validation Summary
Can we have a flexible form validation control. It would be nice
- if we can have a validation control shown next to the submit button at the bottom.
- If we can have a validation error message next to the control.
Thanks

Nintex Form List Form Webpart allow Webpart Connections
Allows the Nintex Form List Form Webpart to allow Webpart connections. The primary need is to allow a querystring filter webpart to provide the parameter value for the ID of the item to display in the Form webpart when in edit mode. Other possible parameters could be list name and site name.
144 votesThanks for your suggestion Andrew. As we are currently working on Universal Forms and rebuilding all our controls for the new technology platform, we will be considering this feedback for the new control.

List View improve "Add New Item" for parent-child forms
If the control "List View" is added to a form, the control has an "Add New Item" link at the bottom. This goes to the New Item form for the list in question. I would like to use this for creating Child records. For example, if the List View control is on an Invoice Header record, I would like "Add new Item" to add a new Invoice Line Item. The link goes to the Invoice Line Item list but it does not set the InvoiceID field in the Invoice Line Item to the correct value automatically. My clients want the…

Parent/child relationships between form and another list is something we see from time to time. This is something we will explore when we rebuild the List View control for Universal Forms.
I will update this idea when we begin development on this feature.

Display a temporary default value until clicked
I'd like to have a temporary value displayed until a user clicks a form field - like the form I'm filling out right now does. It says "Describe your idea..." until I click it, then that text disappears and I can type my value. It would be MUCH better than the floating tooltip used now.
26 votesThanks for your suggestion Keith. Universal Forms now includes placeholder text and will also include default value text options when released.
I will update this feature when we release Universal Forms for SharePoint.

Suppress Active Directory Information from People Control
Currently, if a SP 2013 list includes a Person or Group column configured to Choose From All Users, a Nintex form for the list will render the column as a People control. At run time, the People control will display the underlying user’s AD Domain and Login if you hover over it. This may be a security risk.
Can we add a Control Setting in Nintex Forms that enables us to hide the AD information (and perhaps default this setting to Yes)?
Please refer to Support Case #00067767 "RE Person Column" for additional details.
Thanks

"Select all" - button
In some of our forms we have 20+ check boxes and then if it is applicable to all options the users have to select everyone of these options.
Will it be possible to add a control that allows for select all?

people picker field - unique values
When you make a People picker field to unique value, there is no error message when you create the second element with the same Person. Bug.

Use Custom Redirect from Form in List Form Webpart
Please add an function to the List Form Webpart that uses the redirect from the original form (for example it redirects with parameter thas was filled in in the form) ... List Form Web part use only his own redirect from web part properties after submit
36 votesThanks for your suggestion Patrick.
So you would want to redirect within the iFrame of the web part? Or are you expecting the browser window to redirect from the host page of web part? Let us know in the comments section below.

Add Validation also for Time not only Date in a Date/Time Column
At the moment the validation works only on the Date Part not on the Time Part of an Date/Time Column.
18 votesThanks for your suggestion. We will consider this when building the date functions in Universal Forms for SharePoint.

Improve performance by replacing SharePoint's DataFormWebPart control with a better alternative
There is an aditional load time when using a Nintex Forms List View control, because this utilizes the (slow) SharePoint DataFormWebPart control.
Please remove this dependency and replace it with a better alternative.
User experience and acceptance would improve a lot because of reduced load times for forms.
19 votesThanks. This has been passed over to the development team for review and assessment of alternatives.

Customise the location of error messages
Ability for the designer to choose where to play error messages instead of always up at the top of the form.
For example, an error message for a required field, can be placed next to the field, or underneath the field, or a pop-up box alerting the user of the error.
97 votesAt this stage we have no plans to change the validation message location for Classic Forms. We recommend you look at Responsive Forms if you users prefer the validaiton message below the field.
Once we have shipped Universal Forms for SharePoint, we will revisit the Classic experience.

Min Date and Max Date for date picker
It would be nice to have the Min Date and max Date feature available with date time control as its available in jQuery date picker control. Please refer to http://jqueryui.com/datepicker/#min-max

String Format
Please allow "masks" to be applied to textboxes and other controls, so when a user is entering a value it can be displayed in formats such as currency, or comma separated values. Be sure to implement this as a mask so that what is displayed is different than the actual stored value. This will make it much easier for users entering large numbers. I've had this requested by some customers already.
PS: Calculated fields are nice for display, but not when entering text.
121 votesString format and masks have been included into Universal Forms. You can define your own custom mask into the text box and will be including currency control into Universal Forms in the future.
Once we ship Universal Forms for SharePoint, I will update this feature.

Wizard style forms (Multi-page forms)
For large forms we need an easy way to fill in sections of a form before proceeding to the next section. This should allow some form of validation before proceeding to the next step. Almost similar to how this can be achieved in infopath with different views. I know this is achievable with tons of javascript, but customers do not want to maintain such a javascript heavy form. Asking for a simpler way of doing this.
314 votesThis feature has been included into Universal Forms for SharePoint and Office 365.
Once we have shipped Universal Forms for SharePoint, I will update this feature.
