  1. Bug: Create item action - fields are not in alphabetical order.

When you add a field to the "Create item" action, the field list is in the order they appear in the content type (not alphabetical). Very frustrating when you have a form with 50 or so fields in it.

  2. Dynamic Picture URL

I need the ability to set a picture url dynamically.
For example: User selects iPhone -> a picture of an iPhone appears. User selects iPad -> a picture of an iPhone appears. The crux right now is, I could implement that with different panels and hide/show the appropriate picture. But I don't want a panel for iPhone 6 rose, gold, silver, space grey; iPhone 6S rose, gold, silver, space grey; iPad rose, gold, silver, space grey, ... So why don't give the ability to select from named controls when building the picture url?

  3. Ability to control line spacing in labels

It would be nice to be able to control the line spacing in label controls. If you don't enter a carriage return everything is single spaced, however, as soon as you use the carriage return it jumps to double space, this is often too much space between lines.

  4. Do not submit for Web Request until control has data

When using the Web Request control, and it is dynamically calling for data from a web service using another control's value, we need a way to not make that web request until the control has data. Because of the large number of WR controls on the form, all fire on form load and cause a slow load time. We need a way, that if the control has no value that the request is not made. We love how dynamic it is, but being unable to control when the request is made is causing a bad user experience. We currently set…

  5. Update Target Audiences

It would be helpful if you could directly update Target Audiences on list items directly from a Nintex Form, instead of needing to update the column via a workflow. Currently Forms can't see the Target Audiences SharePoint column, and therefore can't update it directly.

  6. Improve attachments handling

Allow list item attachments to be displayed by the attachments form control when the Nintex form is added to an existing list with items and attachments. Currently, only attachments added using the Nintex form can be displayed by the Nintex form.

Related to this, you can't attach a file to a list item using PowerShell and have the Nintex file attachments form control display it.

  7. Add scroll bars to people picker

If more people are listed as there is space on the screen, we are not able to see them all without the ability to scroll.
For example when a lot of people have the same firstname but the user is not sure about the surname, he doesn't know what to type and cannot see all suggestions.

  8. Conditions on Output of Managed Metadata Control

It would be fantastic, if I would be able to create conditions based on managed metadata columns.

At the moment its not possible to define rules which hide or unhide other controls based on the selection in managed metadata

  10. Named Controls Should Be Arranged Alphabetically in the Formula Builder

It would be helpful when searching through the formula builder named controls to see them alphabetically. see attached screenshot. Thanks!

  11. Allow for passing dynamic filter in external data column control

In the External data column control, allow for dynamic filtering at runtime. Currently, you can not have a lookup to a MS SQL table that needs to be queried(filtered) by a value already on the form.

An example: A manager opens a form to enter a termination request. It gives them a dropdown that is connected to a MS SQL table view External Data Column control. That control would pass the filter of the manager username to the external content type, filtering the subordinates that report to him/her.

  12. Insert link enhancements

Would be great to have the Nintex interface provide the option to set the Open in New Window option like standard SharePoint rich text editor does. Also, the Nintex Insert Link option doesn't keep the text you've highlighted prior to selecting to insert a link. Means retyping the link text a second time if you've already typed it out in the body of your content.

Thanks for your suggestion. In Universal Forms, the Label control (which includes Rich Text) allows you to insert a link. All links will now open in a new browser tab.

If there is something else you would like to see, please let me know in the comments section below.

    Cheers,
    Euan

  13. More advanced filtering for connected lookup controls

Lookup controls allow filtering as shown in the attached screenshot. Filtering however is limited to one field.
I would love to be able te filter on multiple fields with (multiple) AND/OR operators.

  14. Support Enterprise Keywords

    Hello,
the Managed metadata control doesn't work with Enterprise Keywords. And the power of SharePoint lessens when you can't search on keywords/metadata... So perhaps it's a good idea to support these.

  15. Captcha for Forms

A Captcha control is needed, especially for those forms that are published to Nintex Live that allow anonymous access.

This will prevent spam form instances.

Thanks for your suggestion Vadim. As we are currently building Universal Forms for Office 365, SharePoint and Nintex Workflow Cloud, we are considering how we move forward with Live Forms with all the Nintex Infrastructure.

We currently support Google reCaptcha in Nintex Forms for Nintex Workflow Cloud which may suit your needs as the platform supports anonymous forms and pushing data to different systems.

    Cheers,
    Euan

  16. Managed Metadata Controls Field Validation

JavaScript Validation Failed on Managed Metadata control after the latest upgrade to Nintex forms 2013 in August 2014 (Latest version at the moment).
With Rules Validation now in place to replace JavaScript Validation would you please create a functionality so the Managed Metadata controls can be used as a source to check forms validity.

In other words - Please provide a way for us to do Check that is user is not just entering free form text in a field that is using Managed Metadata. Please look into this ASAP. This we can no longer accomplish with JavaScript.

    Thanks
    Carol

  17. IsMemberOfGroup Inline Function Enhancement

It would be awesome of IsMemberOfGroup supported AD Groups as well as SharePoint groups. Many business requirements want to leverage the existing groups in the AD, so creating another group in SharePoint simply to replicate an existing group to get this working adds administrative overhead. This could be a big win when permissioning forms panels and showing/hiding controls based on memberships to AD Groups.

  18. Enable Multi Line Text box to work with External Content Types

The Multi Line Text box control cannot be connected to the External Content Type list string fields, e.g. a SQL field which has NVARCHAR(max).

One can get around this with jQuery but it is a hassle and it would be good if it Forms could simply support this please.

  19. Create separate formatting and validation rules for multiple Attachment controls

Now that we have the ability to have multiple Attachment controls on a list item form, we need the ability to create different rules for each Attachment control. For example: Attachment A is always required, Attachment B is required if Named Control 1 equals a specific value, Attachment C is only visible and required if Named Control 2 equals a specific value, etc.

  20. Add Time as Default value in Date/Time picker

When setting the Default value of a Date/Time picker, you can only specify a date but not a time value, even id the "Date only" flag is no.

It would be convenient to have the possibility to specify a default time (hours and minutes) when the Date/Time control is set to allow time entry.

    Thanks
