  1. Sorting a repeating section

    Repeating sections allow the creation of additional rows, but the rows inside the section are always displayed in the same order.

    Would it be complex to display the repeating section in a different order? based on the order of one of the row control?

    The designer would define a parameter in the rpt section that list all the controls name in one row. designer would select one of those controls, and the repeating section would be displayed in that order in display mode. That could work with dates, numbers, texts...

    Alternatively, another feature could be the ability to switch the…

  2. Sharepoint Modern library Details Pane allows users to update values so it by pass the Nintex Form rule/validaiton

    In the SharePoint 2019 Moden UI library, the user will have ability to open properties via Details pane and edit the value.
    This causing any rules or validation that has been configured onto Nintex Form designer being ignored.
    Would like to have support to prevent updating the value via details pane if Nintex Form has been published on the library.

  3. responsive external form

    Due to the Sharepoint is now 2019, they go much more trendy design on layout design. However Nintex only allow to publish a classic form as a external form. It is quite not feasible to maintain a single design not only for the public SharePoint of a Website.

    We think the Responsive External Form is a must in the future release.

    PS: here is talking about the Nintex Workflow and Form On-Prem.

  4. SQL Request Control Support for Office 365

    The SQL Request control is only currently available on Nintex Forms for SharePoint on-premise and not Office 365.

    Could we get this supported in Office 365?

    Regards

    Chad

  5. JS RegisterRepeaterRowAdded : Have dedicated function

    Have the possibility to have dedicated JS event functions.
    At the moment if you have several repeating sections, you need to check globally which control sent the event :

    NWF.FormFiller.Events.RegisterRepeaterRowAdded(function () {
    var currRow = NWF$(arguments[0][0]);
    if (currRow.parents(".rptA").length > 0) { ... }
    else if (currRow.parents(".rptB").length > 0) { ... }
    else if (currRow.parents(".rptC").length > 0) { ... }
    else { ... }
    });

    When you want to add a new row in all repeating sections, you have a cascading effect since the function will be triggered for each repeating section.
    With 4 repeating sections, you have 16 executions to…

  6. Multiple views and Form Load Rules

    In InfoPath I have used multiple views of a form in combination with Form Load Rules to present a separate form for users on the same list depending on a rule. One example was a separate form for the initial add item and then another view when editing. The rule would just look at a required field and see if it is empty. Another example one form was used when adding and editing the initial record. The form had a field for adding additional lines and I used Nintex workflow to add these with a different value in one field…

  7. Allow checkboxes or alternate UI options for Managed Metadata Columns

    Allow checkboxes or alternate UI options for selecting Managed Metadata Column data in form control. The stock SharePoint TreeView interface is not user friendly.

  8. Copying control from one form to another form

    This would be so useful and time-saver if we could copy control from one form to another form. Also, it should be possible that we could import a complete form let's say source form, into another form i.e. destination form while older controls in destination form are not lost. For this, user should be able to import a form in a panel sort of thing in another form.

  9. Clear non connected fields on a form

    Would like the ability to clear unconnected fields on a Nintex Form when the form loads. Some customers have the requirement not to preserve form data to a unbound field on the form.

  10. People Picker validation on Form submission

    At present when a form is submitted the people picker control is validated on user login. Can this be changed so the control is validated using Email address instead of the login name.

  11. Respect tab indentation in custom JavaScript

    When you paste JS code in the Custom JavaScript section in your form settings, the designer wreaks havoc with you code if you use tab indentation instead of space indentation.
    Is is just a pain to work with the designer and JavaScript this way when you have to change something.

  12. Nintex Mobile App Radio button are not supported

    Currently the Nintex Mobile App doesn't display the Radio buttons, instead it shows the options as a drop down list.

    We have built a QA process form which shows a poor design without Radio buttons.

    Please include the Radio buttons in the Nintex Mobile App.

    Thanks

  13. Move the "Delete form" button far away from other popular buttons such as "Close".

    I truly believe that the delete form button should be either moved far away from other common buttons or have further steps added to complete the deletion such as "Fill out the following word to confirm delete"; especially considering there is little to no way to bring back a deleted form.

  14. Nintex Mobile Radio buttons alternative request

    Hi,

    The biggest problem with radio buttons/choice controls on Nintex Mobile is that it defaults to the native behaviour of displaying all values in a list, such that selecting the control it "pushes" the list to a new window on the stack and the only screen you see IS the list. Users then select a value(s) and the user then "pops" the window off the stack returning the user to the page with the option choices value(s) shown.

    There is an alternative behaviour that can be implemented, and I have done this as an iOS developer, and the behaviour I…

  15. Form variables in default control values and in labels

    Currently, there is no option to use form variables in default control values and as reference values in labels.
    Examples:
    * Pre-populate default values depending on the user group membership in new forms.
    * Switch between different form views controlled by a drop-down depending on the user role.

  16. Calculated Value controls should support saving to a multiple lines of text column

    This control should support the ability to save to a multiple lines of text column. Currently it is able to lookup text with the lookup() function from a multiple lines of text column. It ought to be able to save to such a column as well.

  17. List Lookup control should support the Multiple lines of text sharepoint column type

    Because of how I designed 2 forms over 2/3 of a year ago, I need to spend extra time to perform a certain request for a client. I currently need to update 5 different choice controls with information that already exists in another list.

    What leads to the issue described in the topic is that in my research to move this information out of choice controls and into a list lookup required me to set the column types to single line of text. Now, the list lookup control does support this, however one of the columns allows multiple selections, and…

  18. Control to mark the end of the form, anything past will not print

    There ought to be a control that when placed on the form will mark the end of the printable version of the form. This way you can hide any buttons or other controls from being printed if they are below this control on the form.

  19. Responsive Column Number

    Notice that with responsive forms design on-premise for SharePoint that we can only have 4 columns. Can we get the same increase for amount of columns you can have to match responsive form design in workflow cloud.

    Thanks for your suggestion Kevin. We are working on bringing the forms engine from Nintex Workflow Cloud to SharePoint in the future. That will bring all the changes (including column increase) to SharePoint when released.

  20. SQL Control - Server and Database Global Constants

    Each SQL Control needs to have the database server name specified as well as the database name. Please create a global form constant functionality that can be used to specify these values. We have SQL controls on 50+ forms and in the case a server name or database name changes, it is a painful process to locate each sql control, update it, and publish the form.
