I think an improvement is desperately needed on how a full license works when expired. We recently renewed our annual license and forgot to put the new license key into central admin. Now I realize this could be avoided by just replacing the old key with the new key but this go around we forgot.
Instead of stopping workflows to run correctly, which interrupts business process and possible could dramatically affect the business making money, maybe the expired license could let its workflows run but maybe somehow warn the farm admins of the license expiration or even warn the work flow authors. completely stopping workflows from running is unacceptable in my book(as a dev) and is a possible show stopper for my customers.
Please enhance this asap.

btw..we have multiple nintex licenses throughout our company and impacts our business in multiple ways. luckily our licenses expiration dates are staggered so the first set of servers got the stop on workflows before others.
