Add dynamic number of attached documents to the email notification action
Imagine having a workflow that can generate a dynamic number of documents in loops or For Each actions.
It's not possible to attach these documents to the mail, since the generation of attachments are fixed.
The only current possible scenario is to run the workflow on a list item, and attach said documents to that list item - and that's not an option when running WF's on document libraries or as site workflows.
The ability to add a dynamic number of attachments to the email action has been added into version 126.96.36.199 and 2.4.3 of Nintex Workflow for SharePoint
If i construct a string with docurl1;docurl2;docurl3 and add resultant string in request for approval it adds and attachments are sent successfully but if there are no attachments at all it sends with an error.txt file.how can this be avoided i know we can right conditiion to check if it is empty and assign different task but its lot of overhead as i hav to duplicat steps only for this reason. Please suggest if we have any method to overcome the same.

Great answer Alex, but how does it work?

Vadim has detailed precisely the functionality I require.

Like with the check box for attaching all list item attachments to the notifications, it'd be nice if there was an option to select a Collection variable that has a list of urls and have the action attach all of them to the notification.

This feature would solve our current issues and ease the need for an massively over complex workflow.
Our workflow currently seeks out documents in other libraries and sends one attachment per email for the number of documents specified in the request form. The result is many emails with one attachment each, flooding our inboxes!
We would like the ability to attach multiple documents dynamically to an email using a single collection variable.
