Escalations
Please consider a modification to your Escalation page and escalation notification.
• Since the Escalation Delegate notification is a rather important feature I find it hard to believe that you put the Escalation information entered on the Escalation tab at the bottom of the notification email. It would be tremendously helpful if the escalation comments section were shifted to the top of the email notification.
• Even better idea, allow the Escalation notification be format-able just like a reminder. Allow the designer/developer to enter custom information so that whoever is receiving the Escalation information is well aware of what is going on an why.
• The current structure appears to use the Task Notification and just add the escalation comments to the bottom, which seems somewhat silly considering if you’re taking the time to create a workflow and someone fails to perform an action after receiving x reminders it would seem pretty important to let the person to who the escalation delegation is going to know in both the subject line and at the top of the email what the heck is going on. To bury such important info at the bottom, makes the notification useless.
• Also, if something is escalated via delegation, the reminders should kick back in
• And if there is a way, each time a task is delegated to a new person restart the reminders, if this is even possible.
• Maybe add a check box field that allows the escalation delegation to be a hard or soft deadline for task completion. If Hard then no further escalation delegation may take place, if soft, then make that number configurable.
These are just some ideas. I do hope that you’ll consider them.

Sadly, the Nintex Development has completely ignored this request which was submitted way back in 2014. There was a second submission again in 2018 under a similar heading.
Escalation/Reminder/Delegation Notifications template change
When a user has a task assigned to them in a workflow designed with the ability to receive reminders, the ability to delegate the work to another, and if deadlines are set and missed the work may be escalated all of these use a Nintex template. But this template is too rigid. If your notification includes a lot of information then the Escalation or Delegation part of the notification appears at the bottom of the notification. When in today's world, people look for quick information, and if the original task notification has a lot of information, the crucial information such as "Reminder" or "This task has been Delegated to X (you) from Y" or "This task has been Escalated to Y due to Reason ABC" is buried at the bottom of the Notification that is informing a person of a new Action. This is problematic. Similar to a web part on SharePoint allow the user to define where crucial info should appear on a notification when these 3 types of actions happen.

Sunnie shared this idea · October 19, 2018Using the Vote up or Vote down functionality sucks, because a good idea that is missed for a day due to low user interaction basically kills creative ideas for useful functionality. Worse yet, is when the development team never even acknowledges an idea, did you even see it?
/sigh not everything must follow "social media approval /disapproval conformity" to be useful.
