Action set - Run as workflow owner option to be visible anywhere on the workflow
It was noticed that when the "Action set" action is placed on a workflow in the main stream, the option to run the action set as workflow owner is visible on the configuration of the action.
But if the same action set was placed within a parallel actions, state machine, or any action that has other branches; the option to run with elevated permissions (as workflow owner/the account used to publish the workflow) is no longer visible.
As developing workflows, we expect that an action will behave the same way wherever it is placed within a workflow. I personally believe this might be a bug.
We have been dealing with it as a fact, but it would be wonderful if it can be fixed. I've noticed it in 2010, 2013 and 2016. I'm not sure if it is also in O365.

resolved this problem.
set 'run as admin' to parent - parallel action

It also will be good to highlight all child actions (child to action, that has "Run as workflow owner" checked), that will be executed as owner

Thanks Jon for your reply. It is great to know about O365. It would be wonderful to have this fixed for the on-premise versions as well.

In 365 we have allowed Actions sets with elevated privileges to be nested in paralle actions and other Action sets. In this respect Nintex for Office 365 is enhanced in comparison with on-premises.
