Combining multiple documents into one pdf
Good day,
We have a few departments working together on a month end report for the executives. We also have similar reports that are created by different departments and need to go to the government.
The problems is that the information in the different sections are sometime confidential and you cannot let all the people see the whole report. So it is important to create separate reports for the different departments. These documents have to be combined by someone at the end of the day and then convert it to pdf.
Can you please look at enhancing the convert document feature with the ability to add multiple documents as input and converting to one pdf?
Kind Regards,
Francois

https://www.muhimbi.com/Products/PDF-Converter-for-SharePoint I have been using this product along side Nintex and Nintex has actions in workflow for this. I have a small 3 server farm so cost is not too bad.

This would be a huge help to a longstanding issue we are having. The only way I know to do this is to utilize a third party tool which is cost prohibitive.

This would be handy to create handover documentation in project scenarios

Combining multiple PDFs with Docgen would be great

Any update on this? Would be helpful to be able to create the PDF and merge the attachments from the list item.

I could not believe that it is not possible to combine the list attachment with a file on the server. I assumed it must be possible using the document generation, but of course i would be happy as well if it is possible in any other way.
To combine documents with direct user input and documents with workflow input seems to me to make a huge impact. -

Currently have users input data plus unknown number of PDF attachments as justifications. The reviewers have to download the PDF generated from the data input, then download the separate PDFs that were uploaded as supporting documentation. Would be easier for reviewer to download one PDF that contains the data that was input in PDF formatted pages, then append the uploaded attachments as pages at the end of the document. This could make the document very long, but this is preferred method as opposed to multiple file downloads.

This would be great for us to be implemented.

This is a big one for me right now. We have a client who has a requirement for multiple images in their reports, way more than 10, and the only way I can begin to achieve that is by creating the first report (with 10 photos) and then triggering another for every 10 after that in a new DocGen. I need to be able to combine these separately generated reports into 1 - I don't care if it's the DOCXes or into PDF and then merged. Just need to combine them.
