Workflow action to convert Nintex Form to pdf
With the recently release Nintex Forms enterprise feature to print to PDF, it would be great to access this functionality via a Nintex Workflow.
As an example a Nintex Workflow could take a Nintex Form and generate a PDF file to be created in a library.

This would be an awesome feature for us. We do a lot of our safety forms and need to generate a PDF to file in our records management tool. It would be great to add an extra step to push the PDF onto a network drive so we can push it into our record system.

Do we know when the PDF conversion action would be available in Nintex workflow.

Apologies for the blatant link to my own post, but I get this question a lot from customers, so have authored a comprehensive blog post about how to convert a Nintex Form to PDF including all attachments, see http://blog.muhimbi.com/2017/08/practical-nintex-forms-to-pdf.html

Hi, This feature is very useful as it is already available with Infopath forms. I see many customers migrating from Infopath to Nintex Forms. In order to achieve the same functionality in Nintex too, I recommend to have this functionality to be implemented in Nintex too.

Would love to see the ability to create PDF/A files from directly within the workflow design. Currently users can only create standard PDF files, which aren't great for long term archival use.

Yes, the pdf is nice but really a pain to save 100's of documents. This needs automated via workflow.

Our company also needs the ability to have a Nintex Workflow that can convert a Nintex Form to a PDF file and copy it via the workflow to a library in SharePoint. Currently as a Nintex Enterprise customer I have to use the 'Print to PDF' button feature when the form is opened up and then save the PDF file to a library manually which is very cumbersome and clunky. We need this functionality sooner than later.

This would be a tremendous improvement! I have couple clients who would benefit this feature so much. Even one of them is considering to change Nintex to another solution if this feature isn't coming soon. The workaround form-word-pd is not just working to multiple forms which need frequent changes - the workload to perform this now is massive.

First off - love the current Print to PDF feature! But this is a very common ask from a large pool of our clients and prospects. Most are interested in converting a form to PDF as a last step in a process to submit the completed/approved form to a records management repository. While they can do it manually by opening the form and printing to PDF there is a lot of interest to include (simple) form to PDF conversion in the workflow.

Does anyone know if this is being worked on already? Is there an ETA?

Yes please. The ability to also include attachments would be amazing.

Since some scenarios include attachments to the Nintex form, it would be great to allow attachments to be included in the PDF.

Being able to generate a PDF file from the completed form via a workflow and attach it to an email in the workflow is what we are looking for.
Especially since we frequently run into issues using the standard print to PDF function on the form. -

With the Print to PDF function in Nintex Forms Enterprise, it would be awesome if Nintex would expose the API through a web service to do this for any Nintex form.
