  1. Add keyboard recognition to drop down menus

When any drop down box appears, I would like to type a letter on my keyboard and have the cursor jump down the list to the first item that begins with that letter. For example, if I have a list with 50 fields on it, it would be good not to have to scroll down the list each time with my mouse (it reduces the amount of time I am swapping between mouse and keyboard). Thanks

  2. Improve 'Refresh Lists'

Clicking 'Refresh Lists' always involves removing filter and field criteria specified in the task.

I would like the criteria to be preserved if it is valid after Refresh Lists is clicked

  3. Fix workflow options: require manage list rights

When you create list workflow in Nintex Workflow for SharePoint 2013, you can turn on the option to "start manually". This function works just like the same option in the out of the box SharePoint workflows and in good 'ol SharePoint Designer workflows. The issue is that there is what appears to be a sub-option called "Require manage list rights". This apparent sub-option limits the ability to start a SharePoint or SPD workflow manually, but when you use this option in Nintex, it doesn't just limit a user's ability to start that workflow manually, but their ability to take action…

  4. Site collection reusable workflow

Allow Site collection reusable workflows with custom content type to start on conditional start

the concept is that you have site collection reusable workflow which has a conditional start. This is then used to publish a workflow to a custom content type where the workflow will only start when the conditions are met

  5. Provide help files in the languages that are supported by Nintex

Provide help files in the languages that are supported by Nintex

To provide a better user experience it would be good to have the help files in the languages that Nintex supports, This includes the internal help files that are installed during the install

  6. Query List - option to automatically create variables and map all columns to these variables

Have an option to automatically create variables and map all fields to these variables so I can use them in the Workflow without having to create them one-by-one manually.

You can imagine what I have to do when there are 150 columns. I have to create 150 variables in the workflow, select 150 columns/fields, and then map all 150 fields to variables manually !!

  7. Ability to adjust (reduce) height from the 'top' of the Panel control without moving internal objects/controls

    • Example: I have a huge amount of space near the top of and inside my Panel control (because I have moved some controls out of it for example). Now I want to reduce the top space of my Panel, so I reduce the top height of my Panel, unexpectedly all my objects/controls within the Panel move with it, which means the space is not reducing at all.

To work around this I have to move all my internal controls up to the top of the panel, very hard because I can't select multiple controls within a Panel without clicking on…

  8. Workflow Action List Window

    Hi,

I think it would be very useful to have a window in the designer that contained a list of all the workflow actions currently in use and allowed the user to click on an item and perhaps either jump to that action in the workflow (if possible) or at minimum open that action's configuration screen.

This way instead of looking at a giant workflow and trying to scroll through and over to try and find a given action, you would have a simple window to easily navigate through your actions.

Maybe you could even add some different sorting options…

  10. Add a reference disc on the corner of each action which is coloured to denote action cost, stack execution order and unique ref for review

    1) The overall size of a workflow is important for complex designs or where a server is processing volume. The colour of the disc could be based on the code size of the action and the average CPU/memory cost of that action weighted by e.g. number of branches. This theoretically could also roll up to an overall workflow cost weighting and possibly provide recommendations i.e. split to UDA or secondary workflow etc.

    2) Since we know there are two execution stacks it would be useful to see the actual execution order within the design dynamically

    3) When asking someone to…

  11. combo focus

Allow non-textboxes like combo boxes and toggle switches to have focus on the iOS form/Nintex App.
For example if you have a textbox followed by more information/labels/or non-textboxes, then a combo box. Then when a user enters text into the textbox at the top, scrolls down to the combo box and answers it, the form jumps back focus to the original textbox.
This is very unintuitive for the user, not sure why the focus wouldn't stay on the last input clicked.

  12. Create a User contact within Exchange (not a user)

would like to be able to create a User contact which will contain user information for the contact. Mail contacts are mail-enabled directory service objects that contain information about people or organizations that exist outside your Exchange or Exchange Online organization. We would like to be able to use "Exchange contacts" with Nintex products.

  13. Ability to use the form ID as a reference

To deep link into a form, we have to use the MobileId found in the XML when exporting a form. We would like to have the ID in a workflow reference to automate the sending of a notification on the current item in a list. Or have a means to query a list from a site workflow to get the Form's ID to again, automate notifications for users to use mobile and submit a form. Tasks are another case for needing this reference. A todo task could be for a user to create an item. I would like to add…

  15. Global Flexi-Task Content Type Update

Would be great if you could globally update the Task Content Type that the Flexi-Task actions are using. This way if you need to use the InfoPath Content Type, or a custom Content Type throughout the environment, you don't have to update every single Flexi-Task action to use this new 'default' Content Type.

  16. Colourblind-friendly visual markers for workflow statuses and Designer UI

Currently the Workflow Status page uses green/yellow/red to denote steps that were completed/in progress/errored, however the shades chosen for these are indistinguishable to some colour-blind people. This means that they cannot tell for instance whether a step is in progress or errored. Also, currently the only indication that a step is "disabled" is its image being shifted to greyscale which is also problematic for others including myself.

Some sort of visual indicator of the step's state beyond RGY and full-colour/greyscale would immensely help to support workflow developers and designers who are colour-blind.

  17. Export Nintex Farm Configuraiton

Would be great if there was an NWAdmin command that would let you export the existing configuration for Nintex from Central Administration and then import it into a new SharePoint environment.

  18. Nintex Constant - Who Should See It?

Currently Nintex Constant can be added at Web App/Site Collection/Site level, but we should also be able to set permission on that constant.

This will help in putting check to see who can see the constant and not each and everyone who has access to designer could use it.

    Thanks.

  19. Check in/out Workflows while editing

I would like to be able to check in/out workflows while editing.
I also would like to support major and minor versions. where a save will generate a minor version you can be able to run with the designer role.

  20. Workflow variable available in update and copy action

In a designer when we can query master list which stores all list GUIDS and store the GUID collection in variable and use variable in CAML Query List ID= Workflow variable.
when we use update/Copy action why is that we cannot use variable? It would be helpful to have an option to choose variable in such scenarios
