  1. Ability to change repeating section icons and where the icons are placed

I'd like the ability to change the icons for repeating sections. They don't jive with the aesthetic of custom designed forms. Additionally, I'd like to have the ability to change where the add/remove row icons are placed in a repeating section, or at least the ability to assign these icons a CSS class.

  2. Workflow Constants - Republish when constant is renamed

    Hi Nintex,

Recently had an incident where an administrator renamed a workflow constant assuming it would automatically update in the workflows. The result was instead that all the workflows went looking for the constant by the old name and wouldn't work!

Something like the "Republish to all" that UDA's have would be great for workflow constants too.

    Thanks!

  3. Ability to adjust (reduce) height from the 'top' of the Panel control without moving internal objects/controls

    • Example: I have a huge amount of space near the top of and inside my Panel control (because I have moved some controls out of it for example). Now I want to reduce the top space of my Panel, so I reduce the top height of my Panel, unexpectedly all my objects/controls within the Panel move with it, which means the space is not reducing at all.

To work around this I have to move all my internal controls up to the top of the panel, very hard because I can't select multiple controls within a Panel without clicking on…

  4. Query List - option to automatically create variables and map all columns to these variables

Have an option to automatically create variables and map all fields to these variables so I can use them in the Workflow without having to create them one-by-one manually.

You can imagine what I have to do when there are 150 columns. I have to create 150 variables in the workflow, select 150 columns/fields, and then map all 150 fields to variables manually !!

  5. Create automatic variables by ContentType

It would be very nice to create variables by a single click. I have lists with 30+ Columns and I need any column as variable. I would be great to generate variables with the type of the existing list columns automatically. Deleting with a single click would be great also.

  6. Make Nintex Workflow and Nintex Forms formulas Consistent

Make Nintex Workflow and Nintex Forms formulas Consistent

I came to the conclusion that the function fn-DateDiffMinutes (Nintex Workflow) and DateDiffMinutes (Nintex Forms) produced different results. Nintex Workflow offered a pure result of a positive and negative number, and that Nintex Forms manipulated the result by converting it to an Absolute value.

I would like to make a few suggestions for your consideration going forward.
1.) Make them consistent in the pure sense where the result is positive or negative. Your documentation on the formula window when using the inline function versus the runtime function provide the exact same formula…

  7. Search for a keyword within a Workflow. Shows which actions they're in.

Allow searching keywords within a Workflow so something can be found easily, whether it be an email address or a text in the email body, etc.

  9. Working with Workflow Variables

    • Ability to delete multiple variables by selection, currently I need to click on each variable, hit delete, hit OK. I have 200 variables.

    • Ability to automatically sort alphabetically by variable name. Currently in the Workflow Variables settings screen, they're not sorted.

  10. Have My Tasks show up in the Task area on SharePoint 2013 MySite

Right now my Nintex workflow tasks dont show up in MySite Tasks area. Nor in the Workflow settings can you set up the Task list to create items in a SP Tasks App that you have created.

It seems like the same template but it is not.

  11. flexi task: allow edit setting for escaltion, reminders and behavior per each assignee. today you can only edit the notification itself.

i've recently encountrd in this situation: i had a flexi task with two assignees, they had to agree on a specific outcome (approve). i couldn't add any more assignees to this task since i needed different behavior than "all must agree on a specific outcome". also, i didn't want the group members to recieve escaltion and reminders.

  12. Export list item data to CSV, including Repeating Section data

A Workflow Action to easily select the columns to export to CSV (attach to an email notification for example) including data in Repeating Sections.

Currently I can do this manually, but very cumbersome and time consuming.

  13. Auto Save

Auto-save while working on a Nintex Workflow would be such a good thing. Not only myself, but other developers I know have backed out of the designer before just by some random key presses and have lost his/her work. Right now the only solution is clicking "save" often, which isn't terrible, but sometimes when you are focused on the work it can easily slip one's mind.

  14. Add lookup functionality when constructing strings

When constructing strings we have the option "Insert reference". Unfortunately this only allows to insert predefined elements, but no list lookups or similar. So if we need some data from other lists we have to use another variable and a Set Variable action prior to constructing the text.

  15. Maintaining version numbers across environments for a workflow definition

We never build workflows directly in the production environment, but rather in a test environment first and after testing then export our workflows to the production environment. Since versioning for the workflow definition is based on the number of times the workflow is published in a environment it is difficult to know if my test environment workflow or the production one is the latest version. It would be advantageous if a versioning number is tracked inside the workflow definition itself.

  16. My Workflow Tasks - Filter for specific workflow

When using the My Workflow Tasks webpart, it would be nice to be able to filter for a specific workflow. That way I could create pages where user's could just manage the tasks for a specific workflow, instead of all the workflows on a given site.

Also, if a user is a member of a group that has a task assigned, it would be nice to see those tasks instead of having to show the tasks for all users.

  17. Migration

Since a Nintex workflow can become quite complex with lots of information coming from multiple locations it would be great to be able to define all the pieces and parts that are needed for that workflow to run (a report of some sort). Further, once a designer/developer has created a workflow with all it's part and has unit tested the hell out of it, allow them to perform a save that pulls together all of the components into one Migration package / file / folder etc... so that when moving a workflow to a QA server it doesn't take manual…

  18. Escalations

Please consider a modification to your Escalation page and escalation notification.

    • Since the Escalation Delegate notification is a rather important feature I find it hard to believe that you put the Escalation information entered on the Escalation tab at the bottom of the notification email. It would be tremendously helpful if the escalation comments section were shifted to the top of the email notification.

    • Even better idea, allow the Escalation notification be format-able just like a reminder. Allow the designer/developer to enter custom information so that whoever is receiving the Escalation information is well aware of what is…

  19. Constants and Variable Lists

I would like to request some additional functionality with Constants and Variables
    1. It would be really great if you would provide the ability to Sort the displayed information. It is very challenging to find a value among hundreds of values when they aren't sortable.
    2. It would be kick-ass if you would display any default values in the list of constants or list of variables, unless it is sensitive, then don’t display that data. I just need to see what I entered really quickly to verify I have entered the correct data.
    3. It would be stupendous if I…

  20. Save the Workflow from within a form

When working on a Nintex form within a Nintex Workflow, hitting save on the form should automatically prompt a save on the workflow. Having spent hours working on a form, I saved it (several times) then exited the form, in doing so, Internet Explorer crashed and when I restored the webpage and opened up my workflow, my form was gone.
