Run as workflow owner
Now, we are unable to use [Run as workflow owner] option under the following conditions.
We would be glad if we could use [Run as workflow owner] option under the following conditions in the future.1) After starting workflow, it makes WF initiator's permission Read-Only.
2) In Action Set, it enables [Run as workflow owner]
3) In that Action Set, there is Flexi task action, which assignes many users to flexi task.
4) In that Flexi task action, it sets Escalation. Once it becomes overdue, it turns to [Comlete Task].
5) After Escalation's process proceeds, there is one minite pause…4 votes -
Admin Console
I have worked with other workflow engines and found one important features missing in Nintex. We should have one admin console to view all the running ,closed and error workflows and should be an option to restart the error workflow from any stage. This will be very grateful for admin.

Create AD User Over SSL (LDAPS)
Would love to see the Create an AD User action have advanced options (just like the Query LDAP action) to specify the authentication types such as None, Secure, Encryption, SecureSocketsLayer, ReadonlyServer, Anonymous, FastBind, ServerBind. The most crucial one would be SecureSocketsLayer as more and more organisations are using LDAPS to enhance security on their environment.

Allow third-parties to create actions for Nintex Workflow
I work for a university in California and one of my goals as a Nintex Application Developer is to convert a project from our SharePoint On-Premise environment to SharePoint for Office 365. One piece of technology we rely on converts a submitted form to PDF. As this is not a first-party technology, it is my understanding that such a thing is not currently possible in the Office 365 environment.
It would be awesome if we could use this product with our Nintex for Office 365 workflows. Is this something that is being looked into? If it isn't already, it is…

Change LazyApproval name in History
We have a lot of executives who complain about seeing approved by "LazyApporval" in workflow history. This looks really bad and unprofessional. Can you please change the wording in history to "EmailApporval" rather than "LazyApproval" or allow it to be customized?

Allow for customization of actionable messages
It would be great if actionable messages in task actions were customizable. We require the ability to swap out the Nintex logo with our own corporate logo.
We would also like the ability to include additional fields in the task email beyond "description and due date" and change the order fields as required.
In a nutshell, we're looking for greater flexibility. Thanks!

Run PowerShell script AND pass workflow constant or variable values
It would be very helpful if workflows can run a PowerShell script that is ran on a server and pass on workflow constant and variable values as well. We have in the past used a custom solution that has the same ability on multiple client projects and have proven it to be very useful, I believe it's about time for Nintex to add this as one of their supported workflow actions.

Update ad group
An 'Update AD Group' action similar to the existing 'Update AD User' action, which would allow the workflow to update the properties of AD groups.

Adding Set Multiple Variable Action
Current only have set single action variable, if we need to set more variable need to add 1 by 1, and current Nintex always asks for the workflow size need to be smaller, if we have this action, we can save a lot of the workflow size.

Action set - Run as workflow owner option to be visible anywhere on the workflow
It was noticed that when the "Action set" action is placed on a workflow in the main stream, the option to run the action set as workflow owner is visible on the configuration of the action.
But if the same action set was placed within a parallel actions, state machine, or any action that has other branches; the option to run with elevated permissions (as workflow owner/the account used to publish the workflow) is no longer visible.
As developing workflows, we expect that an action will behave the same way wherever it is placed within a workflow. I personally believe…78 votes -

Dynamic Document Template Location Within Document Generation
Please allow the ability to specify a dynamic template location through the use of a path variable. At present, in the Document Generation workflow action, you must select a specific file as the template.
I need the ability to append random documents (from a location only known at runtime) to a generated document.

Nintex OneDrive for Business upload file
Improving the functionality of the OneDrive Upload file to work with OneDrive for Business. As seeing that business and corporations are moving out to the cloud and Office 365 spaces and use Office/OneDrive for Business being able to uploading files to OneDrive to Business would make sense versus a personal OneDrive. Especially when dealing with business documents that are being generated or created.

Start or End Workflow (Locally / On Another Site / On Another List)
While we have the ability to Start / End a workflow on the local list, the only option we have for starting a Workflow on another Site or List is to use a Web Service Request.
This is terribly convoluted, and extremely inconvenient (especially if there are questions of authentication) for new users.
It would be much nicer if we could have the ease of just pulling an Action into our Designer and being able to configure it much like you would configure any of the other actions that can interact with Off List items.
Furthermore, please give us the…

Specify ContentType and Metadata in Document Generation
It would be useful to be able to specify the target content type, and set metadata such as Title on the output of Document Generation.
Using the Update Item action for populating metadata after the fact has drawbacks; such as unwanted version incrementation, and its asynchronous nature causes issues when fetching propertie values immediately after update.
