  1. Set Security Permission for Active Directory items

We would like to create Shared Exchange Mailboxes with Nintex Workflows.

Creating a user in Active Directory and provision the account in Exchange ist working. But it is not possible to set the "Send as" Security Permission for the item.

Please provide an action to modify Active Directory Security settings

  3. Possible Security Vulnabirity using "From" in Send Email Notification Action

Issue: Anyone can send email notification on behalf of any other user, this is not restricted by (if user is the WF owner, or even a site owner or even a user in the list of users and information in a sharepoint site).

Possible Solution: restrict the access of A WF by site users only

  4. Convert Word to PDF

In former versions of NINTEX there was an action to convert Word documents til PDF files. This does not exist in NINTEX for Office 365. We have QMS systems in SharePoint being audited by external parties including government authorities. They only accept the PDF format for issued documents in our QMS system.

  5. Suggested Processes > Enable alerts or add to owner/expert/champion dashboard

When a user suggests a process for another team to write, it would be ideal if the suggested Expert/Owner received an email alert so they can review. Alternatively, the suggested process is added to the Owner/Expert dashboards.

IF an expert/owner is not specified when a user suggests a new processes, then a group should be required, so an alert can be sent to the Group Champion for follow up. Alternatively, it is added to the Champions dashboard.

  6. Lazy Approval Token

I encountered a situation with a customer in which the Lazy Approval Token contained an offensive word. I recommend creating the ability to screen the alpha character token for offensive words or create the ability for the token to be a numeric value.

  8. You know, I think error logic as a whole is backwards. I think actions should only 'break' the workflow when they are instructed to do so.

You know, I think error logic as a whole is backwards. I think actions should only 'break' the workflow when they are instructed to do so.

I am using a Copy Item Action which (for me) does not have error handling and it is doing exactly what I want it to do but halting the workflow on an error which I now have to manage.

Alternatively, a checkbox in the Action that simply ignored errors might suffice.

  9. Customize copy item to and from fields

It would be helpful if we could also use variables in the to and from field on the Copy Item workflow action.

  10. add the ability to batch the modification of item permissions

    Hiya,

Please could you change the behaviour of how the update item permission works, to modify the permissions in batches.

There are instances where this fails due to the large number of items/users/groups that it's attempting update.

It would be great if this could be done in smaller batches so that it doesn't timeout/fail

  11. When date/time variable is written to history log, local/utc flag is not taken into account

let’s have a datetime workflow variable where output of Date calculation action is stored.
If such a datetime variable is written to the workflow history log, it doesn’t respect what kind of date (local/UTC) it holds.

I have defined my base datetime value as: 20.04.2018 17:25

I have supplied it to Calculate date action as input and configure the action to consider it being LOCAL time (GMT+2 in my case) and add all the zeros.
I’ve got correct ISO string output => ISOlocal: 2017-04-20T15:25:00Z
I’ve got correct Date output (source time was in local time zone, so no difference expected)…

  12. Additional logging on the Copy To Sharepoint action

For troubleshooting purposes, please add additional logging details of how the item property values are being processed.

As well as, an option to cause the workflow to error if any of the item properties failed to copy.

  13. FTP connector

It would be so great to have actions to be able to upload documents from a SharePoint library to an FTP server and also download documents from an FTP server to a SharePoint library

  14. Create User AD action to support password policy change above 10 characters

When amending password policy for more complicated (more than 10 characters) in the AD, the "Create User AD" action should support that change.

  15. Run as workflow owner

Now, we are unable to use [Run as workflow owner] option under the following conditions.
We would be glad if we could use [Run as workflow owner] option under the following conditions in the future.

    1) After starting workflow, it makes WF initiator's permission Read-Only.
    2) In Action Set, it enables [Run as workflow owner]
    3) In that Action Set, there is Flexi task action, which assignes many users to flexi task.
    4) In that Flexi task action, it sets Escalation. Once it becomes overdue, it turns to [Comlete Task].
    5) After Escalation's process proceeds, there is one minite pause…

  16. Enabling error handling in Nintex online actions

Nintex workflows for O365 does not have error handling feature for many actions. The typical behavior at SP2013 is that user can choose to handle errors for certain actions. In office 365, Nintex provide a flag for subset of actions. This flag determines weather action succeeded or not.

    Such actions are:
    1. Web Request
    2. Query XML
    3. Update XML
    4. Create item in another site
    5. Delete multiple items
    6. Update multiple items

  17. Allow third-parties to create actions for Nintex Workflow

I work for a university in California and one of my goals as a Nintex Application Developer is to convert a project from our SharePoint On-Premise environment to SharePoint for Office 365. One piece of technology we rely on converts a submitted form to PDF. As this is not a first-party technology, it is my understanding that such a thing is not currently possible in the Office 365 environment.

It would be awesome if we could use this product with our Nintex for Office 365 workflows. Is this something that is being looked into? If it isn't already, it is…

  18. Change LazyApproval name in History

We have a lot of executives who complain about seeing approved by "LazyApporval" in workflow history. This looks really bad and unprofessional. Can you please change the wording in history to "EmailApporval" rather than "LazyApproval" or allow it to be customized?

  19. Delete items permanently and skip the recycle bin

It would be useful to add a check box in the action for Delete item or Delete multiple items action to skip the recycle bin and deleted permanently

  20. Update ad group

An 'Update AD Group' action similar to the existing 'Update AD User' action, which would allow the workflow to update the properties of AD groups.
