  1. Submit Button - Add "Insert" to "Redirect to URL"

We would like to Add the "Insert" option to the "Redirect to URL" option in the Submit button settings. We would like to add a conditional URL to other forms based on what is chosen in a form drop down.

Thanks everyone for their suggestion and input on this feature. I have added this to the backlog but it is not scheduled yet. We definitely see the value, but need to balance this against other priorities.

I will update this ticket when our position changes.

    Cheers,
    Euan

  2. New Responsive Designer Close button in header

The current behavior: The close button returns you to the default list view.

    The desired/expected behavior:
    - When form is opened in full page:
The close button redirects you back to where you came from OR redirects you to the redirect URL specific for the cancel button in the action panel settings, if available.
    - When form is opened in dialog:
The close button should close the dialog.

  3. Remove 5000 items limit on List Lookups on New Responsive Forms

The new responsive forms are great, but still has some limitations that older versions of controls had.
When using a lookup control, you can filter the values by searching for values by typing. It has however a 5000 items limit.
This value is hard-coded in the request, but Microsoft has implement paginated requests in their API.

This is a pity to have a search for large lists, but not large enough, please remove the hard-coded limit.

  5. collapse groups (New responsive)

It would be good if you could either set the collapse functionality to collapsed by default and or apply a rule in the rules engine to collapse a group automatically.

  6. Can we prevent the need to disable "Cross-Site-Tracking" in Safari Browser for MacOs

    ref:00D90q6Cb.5002v2sDK6T:ref

Can we prevent the need to disable "Cross-Site-Tracking" in Safari Browser for MacOs, as it can make the browser less private.

  7. Add a loading icon or loading text when new responsive form is loading

Like mentioned in this user voice: https://nintex.uservoice.com/forums/218293-4-nintex-forms-for-office-365/suggestions/19051840-improve-form-load-speed-in-o365, the loading speed for new responsive forms is not fast enough.
In the meantime, it would be good to display a loading icon or text like "Form loading, please wait" to not confuse users who want to use the form.

  8. Clicking "Save and continue" button should take the user to the next page.

That way the "Save and Continue" button functions same as Next button and the need for Next button is then eliminated. That will simplify the UX.

Likewise the Next button can be made hidden if required from the action panel. Give more power to the forms designer.

  9. Allow the People picker control to query AzureAD

Currently the People Picker uses the SharePoint user profile service to access people information which may not be accessible for certain organisations.

It would be good to allow the People Picker to query agaainst the AzureAD to return people information.

  10. Duplicate a previous data entry in a repeating section in responsive form

Currently in Nintex form for O365, when user is filling in information in repeating section, there is chances that some of the data point will be repetitive to the next entry (after click on next row button). It would be great to allow option for user to choose to "clone" row data from previous entry and then make minimise adjustment to speed up the form filling process.

  11. New Responsive Designer hide "Close" Nintex button in header.

Since CSS is not available in the New Responsive Forms we will like to have an option to hide the "Close" Nintex buttons showed in the header when the form is open as we have an option to hide the Print to PDF.

    .nx-sp-form-runtime-header {
    display: none;
    }

Thanks for your suggestion, Vice. We are looking to introduce some changes in a future release including ‘Save and continue’, ‘Redirect’, and ‘Close’. We will take this into consideration.

    Cheers,
    Euan

  12. Ability to Change or Edit Buttons on Ribbon

I really wish I had control over the save button on the ribbon, to be able to add remove edit these buttons would be very nice.

  13. Add ability to create Anchors

It would be great to create anchors directly to Groups by creating a url in a label, this would expand the navigation experience for users.

  14. Official support for Microsoft Teams

Official support for Microsoft Teams by Nintex Forms for Office 365. Currently links in Teams to SharePoint lists with Nintex Forms do not display the Forms - just a blank page. I opened a ticket with Nintex support and was directed here to suggest official support because currently Microsoft Teams are not officially supported by Nintex Forms for Office 365.

  15. PIV Digital Signature capability

Governments are using a more secure ways to sign electronically, and one of the most popular way is utilizing their PIV ID cards to sign documents. Digital Signature, which is a certificate and key pair allows the YOU to digitally sign a document or email, providing both integrity and non-repudiation.

More information of PIV digital signature can be read here:

  16. Add Named Controls to the Image URL

In the Image Control the Image URL doesn't allow to use any Named Controls. It would be helpful if you can add Named Controls to the Image URL. This way if you grab a URL from another list you can add it to the Image Control.

  17. [Classic designer] Get Query String function

We have a hyperlink added to a SharePoint page, when clicked, it will open new Nintex form of a document library. We need to prepopulate dropdown value on this Nintex form through passing field value in URL. GetQuerystring functionality works for On prem but, it is not available in Office365.

We can help end users to click on specific hyperlinks to prefill some fields in the new form.

    Thanks for your suggestion, Harika.

We do not have plans to implement a query string function for the Classic designer at this time but will keep the idea open for voting.

I have updated the title to specify it is for the Classic designer.

    Cheers,
    Euan

  18. Trigger workflow/action buttons in View mode

I don't know if this is possible, but it would be good if you could have a button on the form that is available in view mode that would allow you to trigger workflows/actions. For multi-stage workflows with manual triggers, it can be a pain for end users to manually start a workflow, especially if they aren't too tech savvy.

  19. MS Graph API connector for Forms

Need a connector for MS Graph API in Nintex forms for o365. This would open the ability to make calls to MS Graph for validation and creation of objects in Azure. This ability is available in PowerApps and would prefer to stick with Nintex.

  20. Improve Managed Metadata Control Performance

Currently, the Managed Metadata Control performs very slowly when a term set has a large number of terms. Please improve control performance by only loading a portion of the terms similar to how the out of the box managed metadata control works in the SharePoint Online modern UI.
