Add custom CSS and JS support to responsive forms
Add feature to allow custom CSS and JavaScript to responsive forms

This idea will be supported in Nintex Workflow Cloud in the future. As our next generation workflow orchestration platform, we recommend customers to move to NWC. Learn more about NWC and the migration tool here.

Please reconsider adding the CSS and JS on the responsive forms.

This is the bigger limitation. Its essential

I want to clear 2 fields of my form on "Submit and continue" and there doesn't seem to be a way to do that. And if there is the workaround is beyond me right now but I could easily fix this with Javascript making an onload command to clear the field...It would be nice to have more control over the forms.

I get the strategy, but creating drag and drop solutions for every scenario is unrealistic.

This definitely affects my future purchasing decisions with regards to Nintex.

Worst conclusion ever, without flexibility there is no product...

I see this as a way to perpetually undermine the future/on-going use of Universal Forms. Classic is the only way to achieve our needs with this limitation on responsive forms.

That would be all fine and good if the form worked. If it was flexible. I need to add code to the form to fix your cascading drop downs issue! You can't multiples in a list without it duplicating the item in drop downs. From all my research and talking to your own support people, the only way is to enter in code. Ridiculous!

I personally do understand the reasons to limit this. Unlimited extensibility of form functionality through Javascript (especially) could affect form performance. I would however, really appreciate a way of using CSS that would allow some real styling - fonts, colours, size, etc. I appreciate that having this done through a visual interface will let Nintex package these in a way that will work better (every time) with the interface, but allowing us to create something more stylized, that feels less 'Comic Sans' than the current display formatting in responsive forms.

This feature is a must. All requirements cannot be achieved out of the box. This is a bad.

I think when Nintex suggesting to use Universal Forms is a very bad idea at the moment. You know why?
We have been amused by the ease of use in Responsive Forms, but lack of advanced control. We want to get more control by using Classic Forms, but the UI and UX is not that easy. You suggest Universal Forms, we don't know when it will be released. "very soon" is really a relative term IMO, it can be today, next month, or even next quarter. Even if we have to use Universal Forms, we don't know what is the capability of Universal Forms as well (like does it support rules, conditional formatting, form business logic, and javascript / css).

Hi Euan, typo in your above reply you, I think you meant to say "Our preference is NOT to give you the power and flexibility..". Worst decision in Nintex history.

Please let me know when adding custom CSS and JS becomes available. The theme selection makes things easier to start, but lacks customization for adding additional style (examples: borders to separate sections, background colors, etc).

I would like to resize height only (Multiline Text control)

Lack of CSS & JavaScript support make this unusable in our environment too.

For business use cases sometimes the requirements are not black and white. Some manipulations are needed. It cannot be the other way round where business has to adjust based on product. This is a major gap.

Why not? Seems like a must have option to me. Responsive doesnt mean restrictive

please add this back - currently, our site's css is conflicting with the responsive form css, resulting in form controls overlapping each other, and the form controls overlapping the borders of the form itself. So either I have to somehow add CSS to just the form itself outside the context of nintex, or I have to alter the CSS on the entire site (which is an absolute no go).
This is basically making the responsive version of the forms product completely unusable for me. I understand wanting to make it easier for users - but you have to trust that developers can be adults and adjust their own CSS when necessary. One of the things I like MOST about nintex forms is that I, as a developer, can hack as needed. Please don't be another microsoft and take those options away.
