  1. ABN control https://abr.business.gov.au/

it would be great to have a control that integrate and validate any abn entered into a control against valid abns

  2. collapse groups (New responsive)

It would be good if you could either set the collapse functionality to collapsed by default and or apply a rule in the rules engine to collapse a group automatically.

  3. Ability to add field to SharePoint

Within the old designer, you could add a field to SharePoint - and then use within the form. The new responsive designer doesn't have this.

Workaround is to save/close - and go to the List Settings - add the field, then go back to edit the form. Would be nice to add a field "in the designer" - like with the older/previous forms designer.

  4. Conditional rule pages

It’s great in the new responsive designer and pages. It would be even more power full if you could apply rules from the rules engine to pages example if this is ticked show page or if this is or isn’t ticket hide page

  6. Alphabetic List of 'Connected Fields' (New Responsive)

When dragging/dropping fields from SharePoint (Related List Columns) - these are ALPHA listed.

But within the field itself - the 'connect to field' list is NOT alphabetic.
Within each of the types of sections - it would be handy, when trying to find a field.

  7. New Responsive Forms Designer renames fields with '1' at the end

When adding a field such as "Category" - it adds a field called 'Category 1' - and I have to remove the '1' from the title + name.

Is there any reason for this ?

Thanks for your feedback, Chris. This is done mainly due to the way the default toolbox works.

If you drag on one control from the toolbox it appends 1, then 2, then 3 for the number of controls of that type on the canvas.

However, it appears the bound controls have also inherited this behaviour.

I have raised it with the team to investigate.

    Cheers,
    Euan

  8. Enable 'default' sorting and filtering on a 'filtered ListView' on a Nintex Form

It is now impossible to to extra filtering and/or sorting on a ListView - by clicking on the columnheaders - when the listview is already filtered by a setting in the ListView-configuration.

When users now click on the columnheader, they expect to have the default Sharepoint behaviour, but instead, nothing happens.

I would like to have the default functionality also available for a filtered listview, so users can easily find data when the ListView on the form is relative large.

Example of a business case: we have a meeting-list, with instances of meetings. We have a second list, for storing…

  9. Hide delete button on Responsive forms

CSS can be used to hide ribbon controls on Classic 365 Forms but not Responsive 365 Forms.
Expansion of current CSS form options to check boxes hiding/showing ribbon buttons (on Edit screens).

Thanks for your suggestion. Since CSS is not available in Responsive Forms, we will certainly consider what configuration options would be available in relation to the buttons.

The new Responsive Forms designer does not have a SharePoint ribbon but rather a new minimal ribbon which gives us a lot of flexibility.

  10. Allow for conditional formatting in responsive form.

Font colours should be changeable if conditions are met.

Thanks for your suggestion Angela. This is something I would like to implement with Universal Forms – i certainly see the value.

It may not make it into the first release of Universal Forms for Office 365, but its definitely something I would like to see in the product.

    Cheers,
    Euan

  12. Convert designer experiences from Classic to Responsive

I have forms i am working on in the classic designer. I would like to start working on them in the responsive designer. Also, any changes that need to be made to old forms, it would be nice to use the new responsive designer.

We have discussed the idea of converting from Classic to Responsive but due to the big change in structure, we are not sure it would give a great experience.

As an example, a form of 1000px in a 10×10 grid would be a 100 column grid. Converting this from Classic to a Responsive 4 column grid would not look great. The best we could do is just list every control stacked under each other. If you think this would still be useful, please leave a comment below.

  13. Add 'Change Content Type' control

There's no way for the user to change a content type while editing in a form in 365.

  14. calculated columns

It would be great to be able to display calculated SharePoint columns in Nintex forms. It seems they are filtered out. Sometimes it is not possible to complete the same functionality in the calculated value control.

  15. The ability to publish Anonymous forms to the Internet (using Nintex Live)

The ability to publish Anonymous forms to the Internet (using Nintex Live) so forms can be filled by (potential) customers from a website.

This feature is still in the backlog. We are focused on Universal Forms for Office 365 at the moment.

Once we ship Universal Forms for Office 365 and SharePoint, we will review our offering of Live Forms.

I will update this feature once we ship Universal Forms.

    Cheers,
    Euan

  16. Duplicate form format, for task forms.

All the user to duplicate New, Edit or View forms, formats into a task form. Saving developer time, at this point the fields are carried over without the customized formats that have been added to the original form.

    Thanks for your suggestion Dottie.

As we are currently building Universal Forms which will include a new Responsive Task Form, we will be revisiting how Task Forms are created.

When we begin development of the new Task Forms, I will update this idea.

    Cheers,
    Euan
