  1. Support lists with versioning turned on and where "Append Changes to Existing Text" is set to "Yes."

This is supported with native SharePoint forms, but when adding the field to a Nintex form, the field only shows the latest entry without the date/time/modified by stamp and does not show previous entries. See attached screen shots for more information.

This idea will be supported in Nintex Workflow Cloud in the future.  As our next generation workflow orchestration platform, we recommend customers to move to NWC.  Learn more about NWC and the migration tool here.

  3. List View control

Listview form control similar to Nintex Forms on-prem.

    Hi all,

Thank you for your interest in this idea. We have no plans to support the Event content type at this time. If our position changes, I will update this idea.

    Cheers, Euan

  5. calculated columns

It would be great to be able to display calculated SharePoint columns in Nintex forms. It seems they are filtered out. Sometimes it is not possible to complete the same functionality in the calculated value control.

  6. Convert Classic/ Old Responsive Designer into New Responsive Designer

It would help our company a lot to be able to convert the Classic (Both Nintex 2013 and O365) and Old Responsive Designer ( Nintex O365) in New Responsive Designer for the Nintex Forms O365.
We have hundreds of Classic Nintex Forms (2013) that we will need to move in SPO. It would help a lot to be able to convert them rather than creating them from scratch. When recreating from scratch is involved then it is highly possible that other tool is considered, and not Nintex.

I understand you are working on adding the missing functionality in the New Responsive…

    Planned  ·  Euan Gamble responded

    Hi all,

While this is still in the planned status, we have recently announced a capability that allows you to move your Nintex Workflow for Office365 to Nintex Workflow Cloud. This technology also converts your task forms (Old and New Responsive) to Nintex Workflow Cloud forms. This technology gives you an insight into our conversion capability which we hope to bring to Office365 List Forms in the future.

    Cheers,
    Euan

  7. Add support for Business Connectivity Services (BCS) External Data column on Nintex Form

Nintex Forms does not currently support a major type of data field - the Business Connectivity Services (BCS) External Data column. This allows users to lookup data in external databases from the form using the built-in SharePoint BCS interface.

This is a critical component for many business processes that need to tie to customers, products, suppliers, etc that are all maintained in external systems.

    Hi all,

We have no plans to incorporate BSC into Nintex Forms for Office365 right now.

We have released Data Sources for Nintex Forms for Nintex Workflow Cloud which may fulfil your requirements.

    Cheers,
    Euan

  8. Support adding attachment control into a repeating section

We have a requirement to be able to add an attachment control into the repeating section.

This allows the user to add an attachment provide other metadata in that row.

  9. collapse groups (New responsive)

It would be good if you could either set the collapse functionality to collapsed by default and or apply a rule in the rules engine to collapse a group automatically.

  10. Hide delete button on Responsive forms

CSS can be used to hide ribbon controls on Classic 365 Forms but not Responsive 365 Forms.
Expansion of current CSS form options to check boxes hiding/showing ribbon buttons (on Edit screens).

  11. Add workflows to buttons

Currently you can add a rule to a button. It would be huge if you could add a workflow allowing a one click to start a workflow directly from the form.

  12. New responsive form add hyperlink control

I have some lists that have hyperlink fields where I put links to salesforce and other lists. The New Responsive Form does not support Hyperlink fields and has no hyperlink control. Furthermore, these fields do not appear at all in the designer.

I think this is similar to Hyperlink Control for Repeating Section

  13. Conditional rule pages

It’s great in the new responsive designer and pages. It would be even more power full if you could apply rules from the rules engine to pages example if this is ticked show page or if this is or isn’t ticket hide page

  14. Remove 5000 items limit on List Lookups on New Responsive Forms

The new responsive forms are great, but still has some limitations that older versions of controls had.
When using a lookup control, you can filter the values by searching for values by typing. It has however a 5000 items limit.
This value is hard-coded in the request, but Microsoft has implement paginated requests in their API.

This is a pity to have a search for large lists, but not large enough, please remove the hard-coded limit.

  15. Ability to track where Nintex Forms are being used across the tenant and what is consuming the license

It is extremely difficult to track the license usage for Nintex Forms on Office 365. The XML library also seems inaccurate and tracking the GUID is very cumbersome. I hope that there is a functionality similar to Hawkeye for Nintex Forms coming soon.

  16. Support for Multilingual SharePoint Site with New Responsive Nintex Forms - Attachment Button Translation "Select Files"

This User Voice is for the New Responsive Nintex Forms supporting the Multilingual SharePoint Site translation.
Example: On a German SharePoint Site with a New Responsive Nintex Forms you add an Attachment form control.
When you view the form on a German site you expect that the translation to be in German but some of the actions such us the Attachment form Control will be displayed in English as "Select files".

The same result if you open the form from Nintex Mobile. You will be able to see the same English translation.
Will the New Responsive Nintex Forms be designed…

  17. Who last modified a Nintex Form

It would help a lot to have the possibility to see whenever needed who was the person who last modified a Nintex form for O365.
At this moment this detail are not available but the date only.
Knowing the who change it would help us a lot when debugging an issue as we would be able to collaborate with that person and find the needed info.

  18. Business days excluding public holidays and weekends

It would be great to be able to calculate business (working) days, i.e. excluding weekends and public holidays, between two dates. Ideally, one of it would be <Today>. Thanks.

Thanks for your suggestion. We definitely see the value in calculating the number of business days excluding weeekends and public holidays. The challenge is knowing where public holidays are based on your region (which can change quite a bit depending on location).

This would require either Nintex maintaining a global list of public holidays which is a high overhead, or the form designer maintaining a list of public holidays within their platform.

What would you see is an appropriate solution? Let us know in the comments section below.

    Cheers,
    Euan

  19. Save as new form / duplicate form with data

In Nintex Mobile we now have the option to save a previously submitted form as a draft and resubmit it as a new item after making some modifications. It would be great to have this functionality in the O365 version as well.

Scenario: I have reports that needs to be filled in every day/week. It would be great if user can go to the last form he submitted. Make some modifications, without having to fill in the entire form again, and save it as a new listitem.

  20. New Responsive Designer Close button in header

The current behavior: The close button returns you to the default list view.

    The desired/expected behavior:
    - When form is opened in full page:
The close button redirects you back to where you came from OR redirects you to the redirect URL specific for the cancel button in the action panel settings, if available.
    - When form is opened in dialog:
The close button should close the dialog.
