Create team on Microsoft Teams action is demanded by Teams users for managing teams.27 votes
Teams actions for O365 have now been released.
We have released the first phase of CC/BCC support for the the Initial task emails. For more details, visit our blog https://community.nintex.com/t5/Community-Blogs/Task-attachments-and-CC-BCC-Workflow-for-Office-365/ba-p/112529
For next phase, we will look to include CC/BCC for Reminder and Escalation emails.
The Document Generation action allows data from the workflow to be dropped into office documents. It does not however allow rich text to be injected into documents.
For example, a rich text field in SharePoint will come into Nintex Workflow as HTML, which will then obviously just appear in a Word document as raw HTML, not interpreted as bold, italic, etc.6 votes
Both On-Prem and 365 now support the rich text field when used as a tag in a document template, it will convert assuming html is valid.
I recently try the Nintex Mobile App with our O365 SharePoint site. It's working well and i was surprised by the design on different devices and OS.
It could be nice to improve this app with the ability to manage his tasks from his mobile and not just be able to fill a new form.180 votes
We’ve just released the ability to capture comments from via LazyApproval, apart from that you can also easily store and retrieve those comments (including ones made via Nintex Forms or directly via the task) into a new task action variable (Task comments).
For those who are specifically interested in capturing from LazyApproval the way you do is by supplying the outcome separated by a comma and then the comments .e.g. ‘Rejected, Need more detail before can approve’.
Check it out and let me know what you think…
These functions are available in 2013 version but not in O365 yet. Will they be available for Office 365 in the near future?39 votes
This capability has been released as the Document Generation actions. Document generation automates document generation from one or more templates with conditional inclusion. See Document generation help for more information.
It would be great to have a From field that supports dynamic references. Most business requirements want emails sent from a specific account, which is not supported in NW in O365!699 votes
To support this requirement we’ve just release the following features
- Specify a customizable sender display name for both email and task actions, we understand one of the main requests was to be able to supply a custom from email address however due to many of the limitations in the cloud we are currently unable to deliver this request and so hopefully being able to add a From display name will get you one step closer..
- Add a customizable Reply To email address for the email action so you can control the email address when people hit reply.
Hope you enjoy these features and be great to hear any feedback once you try them out.
The ability create copies of current list items (workflow context) should be included.367 votes
Copy an Item action has been released and is now available for use. You can find this action in the Integration category of the toolbox.
It would be great to have an action that interacts and pulls information from the user profile service. For example if you are using a hybrid situation you could pull the users manager, birthday, department or all types of data to utilise in the workflow.8 votes
Query User Profile was released in the February release and is ready to start using, Read more on community.nintex.com
We recently upgrade to Nintex Workflow Enterprise but were disappointed to find the CRM Actions are not yet compatible with MS Dynamics CRM 2016. We wanted to use this as part of a SharePoint Nintex Form and Workflow but are told this action is not available for CRM 2016. This needs to be release as soon as possible.1 vote
The Document Generation actions should allow images to be dynamically added to the document.
On Premise has that so by right Document Generation for O365 should already have it.3 votes
Office 365 was updated last week to have the same functionality as on-prem including support for images.
"Publisher Action" Setting on Query the User Profile action, not requiring a fixed password, using the publisher's permisions
Currently a fixed password is required to query the user profile. There should be a setting for it to run with the WF publisher's permissions - rather than requiring them to enter a fixed password inside the query, and need to update it all the time, or to create a bespoke admin account for this query. A "publisher action" check box could be considered for other actions, too - creating SharePoint like App Steps26 votes
This has been delivered by updating this action and many others to use the new connection manager..
It would be really nice if there were a setting inside the Document Generation action to specify a folder or path for the document that is generated. Currently we can only choose a library and all files go in the root of that library.6 votes
This has now been released for 365 and also supports doc sets.
Provide the same functionality as is available in the On-Prem product to allow attachments to be included in email notifications as well as task notifications.49 votes
The ability to add email attachments to an email has been added to service
The ability to send emails to recipients outside of the O365 instance.131 votes
This has been released into service and is ready to use
Since conditional starts are still under review, the addition of a filter action would greatly enhance Nintex Workflow for Office 365.10 votes
I am pleased to confirm the Filter action is now available in NW365
In Nintex workflow "split a string" Action Utility is more useful for Developer1 vote
There are several string manipulation actions available in the operations menu for string identification and splitting.
It would be great if you could create a switch action so that a field could be evaluated and have branches that you can implement business process dependent on the value selected. Similar to the functionality available in on Prem. You currently could do this a few ways but detailed examples become very messy.40 votes
I am happy to announce that this feature is now released.
Currently there is no available action to end another workflow. This action is very useful.7 votes
This action was released in the February release.
It would be great if you could have a tooltip text for each workflow action describing the usage and link it to online help page. I'm not able to find some of the workflow actions usage under online help.1 vote
You can access the specific help for an individual action by dragging it on the canvas, opening the configuration and clicking on help. Once your finished, undo the action to remove it.
