  1. Favorite Actions

Create a tab that lists favorite actions. This would allow to easily access actions that you use a lot (like log history), instead of having to scroll through all those tabs.

Thank you for your suggestion. In the mean time try typing in one of the words of the action name in the search it will appear in the toolbox e.g. log for log to history. This will also avoid the need to scroll through tabs.

  2. Task email to send to Mailbox

It would be very handy to include the ability to send a Task email to a mailbox. I understand that a task needs to be assigned to users, but the ability to send the task email to an email address and not to assignee's would cut down on email clutter when a task is assigned to a group of users but only needs to be completed by one user.

  4. Need cross site workflow/actions

I think it's extremely important that Nintex Workflows can perform cross site actions such as updating items in another site using the standard actions. Nintex Workflow, being the leading SharePoint workflow add-on, really should provide this no-braining functionality. Thank you.

  5. Document content as Base64

    Hello,
Is there any chance to prepare something like [FileData] from on-prem version?
I would like to use document content as Base64 in Nintex Workflow for O365 but without success right now.

    Thank you

  7. Copy File to Fileshare

Should be able to copy a SharePoint file to a network fileshare location.

  8. Target only the current item when using Office 365 Update Item Permissions

It would be great to add simply "current Item" to the "Items to update" scope for the Office 365 Update Item Permissions online workflow action.

This would greatly simplify the action and make it clear that the item permissions being affected are only the item permissions that correspond to the item the workflow is currently running against.

  9. Ability to store binary data in variables and pass them in Web Request action

Currently when trying to put binary data (ex. retrieved using SharePoint API binary data of the file from library) in a text variable or to use directly in "Web Request" action some information is lost (I suppose Nintex is not supporting null bits [0x00] and replaces them with spaces [0x20] or cuts them off). Because of that, when trying to create a new file in a different library or when trying to call Nintex O365 REST API to create a workflow, the results are incorrect - the created file is corrupted and API returns errors.

    It would be really nice…

  10. Ability to execute javascript code

It would be extremely useful to have an action allowing execution of javascript code. That would be helpful for example to handle actions/ functions not present in Nintex already. I don't know if this is doable, but maybe? It is probably pretty complex for the Nintex engine to check, whether the code in the action is executed or not, so that Workflow can move to a next action, but still such feature would really be helpful :)

  11. A Create Group Action

I really like the Create Site Action, but it needs to be used in association with a 'Create Group' Action and a 'Assign User to Group' Action. Otherwise the 'Create Site' action is of little use in my opinion :)

That way you could fully automate site creation & improve Sharepoint governance by ensuring when a site is created, you can assign the perfect set of Groups and Permissions

  12. Assigend tasks are not deleted if a workflow is terminated.

Assigned tasks must be deleted/canceled as well, so the user can not approve/reject tasks which are already terminated.

  13. Wait for field change in current item - multiple values with OR

I would like to be able to say "wait for the field to change to this value OR that value, then do this action" - there is currently no option for entering multiple values.

Please have a look at the condition builder just released as part of conditional start. Is this the kind of condition builder that you need in “wait for field change in current item” ?

  14. Add Request Review action

I used Request Review actions on my Nintex Workflow on premise but after migrating to Nintex O365, this action is not supported, please add this back.

  15. 'Exists in Collection' Action should return the indexes as well as true/false

There should be an option to return all of the indexes, or the index of the first result, where this action finds an item in the collection. This would help greatly in processing collections and improving execution time.

  16. Do not put an additional file size limit on top of Microsoft size limit Nintex Forms 365 allows attaching a file of 250MB (Microsoft limit)

Remove additional file size limit on top of Microsoft size limit

Nintex Forms 365 allows attaching a file of 250MB (Microsoft limit) to a list item.
But the action 'O365 Upload File' in Nintex Workflow 365 currently has a size limit of 100MB compressed size.
This limit should be removed; Nintex should not put additional file size limits on top of Microsoft limits.

Our busines case is as follows :

I have external users uploading files, via NF365, which are attached to a list item.
The file size limit = 250MB.
An internal user is approving the uploaded file, which…

  17. Export to PDF/Graphical

It would be very nice if you could export the whole workflow to a PDF or other format, for easy documentation or printing.

  18. Update document set or folder with Update Item or Update Item Permissions

The O365 Update Item is restricted specifically to documents or items, it cannot actually update a Document Set or Folder Item. There are many cases where we need this specifically with Document Sets. The CAML query used to select a Document Set does not work in Nintex, though it works in PowerShell, CSOM, Javascript, REST, etc.

  19. APIs for Nintex workflow 365 as like on premise Nintex

As like on premise Nintex we require APIs/web services to do the following actions.

    1. Start the workflow.

    2. ProcessFlexiTaskResponse2.

    3. Publish workflow

    4. GetFlexiTaskOutcomes

    5. API to delegate a task.

    6. API to configure long term delegation

Thanks for your feedback. We announced our intended support for APIS in 365 at WPC. Please see the dedicated API forum on UserVoice for further info

  20. Run If Else Action

Same as the Run If action, but add an Else branch to it.
