  1. Create Custom Workflow Actions

I would really like to be able to create our own custom workflow actions that we could use within our site collection this would make the product much more flexible.

  4. Enable fully transparant Do-Until (polling) functionality in all Nintex call web service actions

Since we sometimes can not rely fully on the Microsoft REST service endpoints (for example for SharePoint Online) especially when looping those calls in a workflow, it would be very nice if Nintex Workflow added some automatic polling (Do-Until) to retry web services calls if they fail with some sort of 500 error. The same functionality I was aiming for will be introduced into Azure Logic Apps as can be viewed here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=J7PyjKkkNu0. This should enhance the stability of our Workflow solutions

  5. Calculate Work Days inline

Either an inline function or action allowing dates to be calculated minus weekends..
Given that Weekends vary from country to country and some tasks don't require this, it would be great if that within i the task action you could choose and calculate which days should be included.

  6. Version Control

It would be nice to have version control. Its a great feature that is missing from the on-perm world.

  7. 'Run Now'

As Nintex Workflow for 0365 is heavily dependant upon the 'Call HTTP Web Service' action, creating and testing them is particulary time consuming with the feedback cycle, being build workflow, publish, run and then view the history log.

The 'Run Now' provided within the on-premises solution allows users to call the web service there and then to test the input and output.

  8. Allow reordering variables on the workflow start form.

Currently, workflow variables are displayed in the order they are created, which is inflexible.

  9. Start Workflow in Item Edit menu

In NWF 2010+ through Workflow Settings we can show a button to start workflows on the item edit menu. Is this planned? This is a very useful feature for high priority manual workflows.

SharePoint online is still not allowing Apps to integrate into this menu. Suggest you configure the start options to start on item creation and start on item update when developing and testing. Then creating or editing the item will kick the workflow off for you.

  12. Allow tracking of Authorisation emails sent by Docusign

Allow tracking of Authorisation emails sent by Docusign

If Docusign revokes the authorisation token and it needs to be authorised again it would be good if this can be tracked from a workflow

Please tell us more about your use case.
Using the Set workflow variable one can get the WorkflowInstance ID, but it sounds like you are needing the Workflow design ID? You can get the Workflow (Design) Name, what use case requires the ID rather than the Name? Thanks

  14. Ability to share generated document as anonymous/guest link for document generation to share the document outside of their organization

Add the ability in document generation action to generate anonymous or guest link and share the document outside of their organization

SharePoint online allows to Share a document or a folder by sending or posting an anonymous guest link.

We can leverage this to add the ability in document generation action where user can generate anonymous or guest link and share the document outside of their organization.

  15. Enhance Start Workflow action to handle running instances

The behaviour of the Start Workflow action is to suspend the originating workflow if an instance of the called workflow already exists for the list item.

Proposed is an enhancement to either:
    1. allow the Start Workflow action to be configured such that the originating workflow is allowed to continue
    or
    2. introduce a 'Check Workflow' action that returns a value to indicate if if an instance of a workflow exists for a list item

  16. Auto Update Task Outcome Column

When a task is completed, the outcome under the Nintex Task Outcome should be auto populated to the default Task Outcome column so that the results of the task can be displayed within the Workflow Status page of the workflow instance.

  17. No way to stop workflows from starting automatically when item is created

I have three workflows for one list, all are set not to start when an item is created in the list. Issue is that all three workflows start automatically no matter what setting is selected.

Having options to start workflow when item created, updated, or manual are useless if they all run automatically.

  18. Action set VS. App step

We are currently migrating our workflows from on premise to O365, the action set has been converted to app step and now requires a site feature to be activated.

Migration of workflows will not work and is buggy, inline functions do not work and are not available in Nintex cloud.

  19. Start conditions for MS Dynamics CRM Online

Nintex Workflow Cloud has functionality to monitor MS Dynamics CRM Online to see if an entity is created or changes status. This same functionality is needed for Nintex Workflow for O365, so that workflows can kick off based on an entity changing. To add to this, it needs to be configurable so that the workflow ONLY kicks off when one field changes...right now with Nintex Workflow Cloud, the workflow will kick off if an entity changes in CRM, and you can add a parameter that says a field has to be a certain value or not, but you can't restrict…
