Allow impersonation
One feature that I find particularly helpful when designing workflows on premise is to use the impersonation feature included in the Action Set. I've recently been asked to update a 365 workflow and the ability to run the workflow as the workflow owner would be incredibly useful.

There is an App Step action. This requires a site feature to be enabled to work correctly but allows actions to run with elevated permissions.
