Schedule Site Workflow
I often find nearly Site Workflows I create need to be scheduled as they are for batch processing, polling lists, sending 'Near due' notifications and other related tasks.
At the moment, my understanding is that you have to loop indefinitely and a delay for action to mimic a schedule. I.e. complete some actions every 2 hours.
It's just a bit hacky and a tough sell to customers.

Any update on when this will be released?
-
No specific date is confirmed as yet. It should be released in by end of August if not before. This is not guaranteed so no dependencies should be taken on this timing. The release will be comunicated here as well, so subscribe to the email notifications if you have not already.

Another option - If you have a server available where you can schedule tasks, site workflows can be launched via powershell on a scheduled basis.

I have been able to schedule site workflows that have varied frequencies. Again, workarounds are great, but update documentation to temper expectations.

Hello Nintex team,
can you please let us know when this feature would be made available?

A very much needed feature!

This feature needs to be added to O365. I see that this is already 2 yrs old and nothing has been done. I have a scheduled site workflow on my on-prem SP, now that we have migrated to the cloud, the site is now useless without this.

Is this even still being discussed? A 2yr gap with no updates is a bit excessive...

marked as "planned" nearly 2 years ago, what a joke.

Just go and download PlumSail from the sharepoint store, only $150 bucks and works great, if you're waiting on Nintex to develop any new features for O365 you could be waiting awhile

Nintex should just buy Plum and bring their product up to speed.
Who every wants this func now buy this app for $150/y from the app store and get it going, works great with both SharePoint and Nintex site workflows in O365.

Hi Rakathi,
Site workflows are already supported. Access Nintex Workflow from Site Contents and the Nintex Workflow App. This will take you to the Workflow Gallery view for the site and allow you to create a new site workflow.
Schedule workflows is a feature that we are actively defining for development.
Cheers

It is hard to believe that feature is not in there yet. An Azure Schedule Logic App could do such thing K2 does it as well. The lack of scheduling really hurts the ability to generate reminders, reports, etc...

I'm still holding out hope for this feature. In the meantime I've been using Azure WebJobs to handle the scheduling component and avoid the long running workflow problem. Not sure if this is allowed here but here's my writeup: http://www.sunnywijeratne.com/scheduling-workflows-in-sharepoint-online-with-azure-web-jobs/

Please hurry for this feature. If could spend my entire 50 votes on this one, I would... it's preventing us for creating nice mini apps, reminders, etc..
