We need functions to find the action that a workflow has error and the reason of this error for each workflow instances. Our workflow developers need to find the reason of error and solution. In case of on premise environment, we can find following menu. But Nintex Online doesn’t have. This is very important function for Nintex developer.
- How can I find the action that a workflow stays in.
Click … menu > select View workflow history > Click workflow name
- How can I find reason of error
Click … menu > select View workflow history > Click workflow name > workflow details.

Any update on this?
O365 needs to log all of its actions (or have a checkbox defaulted to "YES" on every action saying you "log to history") just as On-Prem does instead of having to create Log To History actions for every item - and, additionally, to have to write to another list in order to retain auditable workflow history that would otherwise disappear in 60 days.
How to display nintex workflow history on Nintex Form in office 365
It is available but needs to be logged manually. there is a workflow action named "Log to History List" that allows you to log comments to workflow history list.
The visualization was without a doubt a huge help for fault finding workflows, whereas now we have to add 'Log to History' at every step, making the workflow much larger and difficult to snapshot for records purposes. Especially the colour coding made it very quick to find the specific shape that failed. If we can't have a visual history, then at least a log of each shapes completion would be useful so we didn't have to 'Log to History' within every workflow.
Workflow history is often used as a first audit trail (I more often now add wf logging into the item or a separate list), while the workflow status visualization is a big help to analyze where a workflow breaks. Alternatively if it would be possible to test run the workflow on an list/library item from within the Designer and see there where a workflow might break would be a valuable debugging tool as well.
Good morning gentlemen. I currently have customers interested in NINTEX, some sales have been lost because it does not have the functionality of "Workflow History" which is not available for O365. One of the customers is interested in placing NINTEX in their bidding, but if there is no commitment from the manufacturer to enable this functionality, it will be inclined to another solution. Could you support me?

Really looking forward to the great workflow visualization capability that we all enjoy in on prem versions of Nintex. I'm hoping to see this make its way into O365 soon (please!)
I agree, the workflow visualization was incredibly useful, troubleshooting workflows in O365 has been very difficult.
Is there an ETA on when this feature is available?
In MOSS2007/2010/2013, Workflow history gets populated with task outcome along with user name who approved/rejected it. There's no explicit 'Log to History List' activity needed for this information to be retained.
In Nintex O365, Workflow history doesn't show the task outcome details by default. We need to add 'Log to History List' activity in order to achieve it.
Can we get this to populate by default like other SharePoint versions?

Indeed. I am using Log in History to troubleshoot. However, it's the visualization I'm looking for :)
Glad to know it's planned.
